So, we were looking in the Hughes (That's my last name) genealogy, and found out today that I am related to Pocahontas! It turns out, My great times (how knows how many times) great grandfather, Caleb Hughes (Thats my Name as well! There was alot of Caleb's and Thomas's in out family) married Opechanacanough Powhatan's (A.K.A Pocahontas's Father) granddaughter! And that's on my fathers side!

 

On my mothers side, I am related to Jesse James, The notorious train robber! He is my great aunt ethals greatXsomething uncle! I don't have alot of information on how he got related to us, but this is still an amazing find!

You might be! Talk to your parents and ask them if they have their genealogy book , or if you live outside of your parents house, do some research! You'd be amazed on how much you can find!

i disagree with jews being a race, hitler and his political way of thinking made it a race just so he could spread his message of hate towards them. im pretty sure if you were christian and you decided to practice Judaism it doesnt automatically make you "look like" a jew. being jewish is an essentially a religion (that has the first few books from the old testament which IS the tora even the Qu'ran has the first few books from the bible) that some people want to live by, besides if was a race we could have easily identify them based on what they look like but we cant cause if we just point at some one that "looks like" a jew thatt would just be stereotypical, ignorant, and some might even say prejudice it all depends on who you ask.

We aren't completely Jewish, but the government calls us "Judaic Christian" We keep Jewish traditions, but believe Christ is our savior.
