KH3D Drop Gauge Question + Tron-Based Moogle (Picture Inside) Sorry If This Sounds A Little Bit Like Tmz.

Recommended Posts

I know the title doesn't sound as interesting as the question itself and I also know that the KH3D forums are flooded with questions about Drop Gauge.

Anyways, here's my little doubt and I'll explain it with an example.

Let's say you're playing with Sora and you advance to much in the game. So, perhaps, the Drop Gauge is like a preventive method and when one of the two characters is more advanced than the other, in plot terms, the Drop Gauge depletes faster. This could also help to keep both scenarios on parity.

This idea comes from my perception of BBS. I haven't played the game (yet) but it looks like you can have mini-spoilers when you play an scenario that has similar events to another one. I also read that some cutscenes are repeated in all three scenarios.

Food for thought, well, not actually, but it would be amazing if a Tron-based Moogle makes an appearance in The Grid.

UPDATE

Exodaxe has some questions:

How the drop gauge feature will affect the level up system?

Original words:

That art looks effing amazing!! And as for the question, like @Rob said, you don't get to control the character past the other one, there's point in the story that you have to switch. I think that my concern is that, what if I wanted to level Sora or Riku then I have to wait to deplete the other one just to level up either of them? >.< Or maybe they will level at the same time? Is there gonna be one level for each of em? or just one for both?

I created a thread that looks very much like yours, but you have a insteresting theory up there. It can easily be the way you talk about, also, I'll love to play as Sora and Riku at almost the same time =D let's see what the others are going to say.

*waiting for Dr. Ivan to close this thread*

Perhaps, I should change the title.

You can force the drop sequence or let the gauge run out. Also, the game will stop you when you reach a certain point with 1 character.

Mmmm, pretty interesting. Can I add your questions to the topic?

I believe I read in one of the recent Nomura interviews that if one of the characters progress to much the game will force you to progress more with the other character. Hope this helped, in some way...

Also, please take my words with a grain of salt (or however that expression went), I don't remember what Nomura's exact words was.

The closes while get a Tron based Moogle is probably the same as the one we got in KH2 (If we got one at all.I don't quite remember if there even was a special designed Moogle for the Tron world in KH2). But if we did get one similar to the image you posted that would be badass.

I searched, and no, it seems to be that there's no tron-based moogle yet.

Hmm. Then the Moogle which appeared inside Space Paranoids was probably just hologram like most of the Moogles in KH2 was.

I probably thought the Hologram when it appeared inside a data world was a special designed Moogle.

I was disappointed when I found out that the moogle in Re:coded was a 2D sprite. I think they are called billboards.

It was!? Long time since I last played either Re:coded or 358/2 Days.

I knew some of the things just lying in the background was 2D sprites but I had no idea the Moogle was one.
