The Secret World of the Borrowers

Based off of “The Secret World of Arrietty”, this RP tells the tale of little people known throughout the land as ‘borrowers’. They are said to live underneath the floors of your house and they take what humans wouldn’t miss in order to survive. The borrowers have many problems and enemies to look out for in the world. For them, humans are a dangerous thing. Many have said to disappear after a human has spotted them, for they are very small and have to fight to stay alive. Some borrower families live in fear of not knowing any other borrowers, so they think they are the last ones alive. Now you must fight against enemies, and not let yourself get spotted by humans.

The Borrowers are small like in the movie

This takes place in the 2012 world of Japan

You are allowed to have a human character as well

Humans can see your character if you want, but it will make a harder life ahead for your character

Most people have stories about the adventures in their lives. For me, my biggest adventure was the day I meet Aria Hope. It all start when I was just starting to live on my own and getting my head straight about what I wanted to do in life. I live in a simple house made for one, back then. The day my journey began, I woke up from my bed and started my day like normal, which usually means go to my backyard forest and listen to music to clear my head. On my way that morning, I noticed something that caught my eye. I saw my cat, Mr. Golden, looking in a brush waiting like it was going to attack. But I took the cat and made it give up its search. I looked inside the brush quickly and noticed that there was some creature in there. I gave up on it and went to my favorite tree and listen to my music.

 

Aria was inside the brush and got out of there before Zack could noticed her. "Phew that was close." Aria said. She then went to her house underneath the floor of Zack's house. She was making herself her favorite chicken and veggie dinner.

The bright sunlight creeped its way into the only window my parents would allow. I sat up, and stretched. "Karin, wake-up." I yawned, shaking the still figure into the bed next to me. She squinted her eyes against the sunlight. I threw on my clothes, tossing Karin's to her. "Do you want to miss breakfast, again?" This snapped her wide awake. We opened the door to our small room, and sat at the table. Mom was cooking something she made from the herbs she'd collected this morning, dad was already out, and Miyoren was already sitting at the table, looking perfect as always.

"Uugh, the sun is so hot today." Miki said as she fanned herself with a leaf. She was sitting in a think branch in a tree since she got over her fear off heights. Miki started climbing down slowly until she was close enough to the grounnd to jump down. She landed onto the soft dirt and looked around. "Okay, what new things are waiting for me today." she said to herself and looked up. The tree looked like a huge skyscraper from down where Miki was. "Although i do need to watch out for that annoying cat." she said and sighed
