Nicki followed after Dane. She could feel the darkness also. Some day, she thought to herself and sighed. More footsteps came from behind. A lot more. Nicki pulled out her swords but didn't look back, just kept running faster. Great, more goons, she thought, but we need to find the source to all that dark energy before i loss it. Nicki made it to some guy that was covered in darkness. Who is he.., she thought as she saw people running away

She pulled on the coat, finding it seeming to almost adjust to her as she put it on. "No rips as far as I can tell." she looked after Dane, summoning her own Keyblade. "Guess we'll have to follow him." She saw him running toward a man. She stiffened as she saw him, pure darkness just oozing out of him. She gulped. "We're in trouble."

Xylla shuddered.

" Did you feel that? Intense darkness..." She looked at Sin.

" It can't be from us, I would have been given an assignment." She said wondering what it could be.

Kyle followed after them, hitting the activator on his shoulder. His armor appeared around him as he summoned both Keyblades. He saw Loki and recognized him as a member of the Darkness Faction. He didn't know him personally, but had seen him around when he was apart of the faction.

sin looked at Xylla then looked over to wear the power was coming from ".......i see its loki so they have stared.." he yawned for a minute then closed his eyes "....there are more then one here.." he opened them "...i want to watch the show can you get us some ice cream..." he opened a portal for her to go throw as he started to watch the battle "...well see how strong changing sides has made you.. kyle.."he then jumped atop one of the houses.

Seeing everyone charge at this man, this thing, made of pure darkness made her hestitant to join. Sure, he had made his appearance extravagant, but would it be wise to rush at him head-on? This is a war, Fainezza. She reminded herself. Sighing, she readied her Keyblade and joined the others.

{Dane}

Dane halted in his run, looking up at the dark clouds forming overhead. What was that dark guy doing? He then smelled smoke and flames. He turned to see a fire spring up from the edge of town.

"They're trying to torch the town!" He yelled.

He thought a moment, glanced from the fire to Loki and back.

"I'll head for the fire. I'll need some help, but dark guy over there needs a talking to as well, so who ever wants him can have him."

Dane took a deep breath and ran towards the blazing buildings.

 

{Octavian}

Octavian watched from the Twilight Town Clock Tower, an amused look in his eyes. It would be interesting to watch these servants of Twilight attempt to save this town. He couldn't let them, of course. That could derail the whole purpose of the attack. Time to give them something else to thing about. He ported down to the Courtyard Loki and chosen and aimed a large fireball at a nearby building.

"What can you do to protect the peace?" he asked the members of Twilight. "Peace won't save your town."

He let lose with the fire ball, blasting a wall of the building.

Kyle glared at the newcomer who torched a building. "Peace means an end to the war, and nobody else will suffer or die!" he said. He charged at him, slashing with both Keyblades.

"Peace isn't easy to get but from experience it's something worth having." Eternal stated but a small smirk appeared before he snapped his fingers. A small group of Nobody's appeared about eight at most. They where all Dancers as they looked at him awaiting a command. "Go help put out fires then go after the causes." He sounded emotionless once more before looking toward Octavian on the Clock Tower. "Best place to start is the main source so let's if I still got it in me if anything at all." The same tingling went down his arm and he ignored just one more time waiting for the next one to see exactly what it was.

Xylla shrugged and went through the portal. She walked passed the clock tower and spotted an odd figure standing there.

" Hey you!" She shouted looking up at him. She ducked as a fire wall flew passed her.

" Watch it will you?" She shouted her eyes narrowing. This made Xylla even more suspicious about the man. He isn't causing all of this is he?

{Octavian}

Octavian dodged one of Kyle's Keyblades and blocked the other.

"This universe has been at war since it began." He stated, delivering a kick to Kyle's torso to knock him back. "Light and Darkness, continually battling for supremacy. We are merely agents of this war."

He executed a series of slashes, designed to keep Kyle off-balance.

"You of Twilight seek to bring peace to that which was never meant for peace."

 

{Dane}

Dane charged towards the burning buildings on the edge of town when he ran into a squad of Octavian's soldiers. Literally. He flipped up to parry an attack from one of the soldiers he hadn't knocked down.

"Oh, great." he muttered, working his blade in tight circles, keeping the attacks off him. "Henchmen."

"I know better than anyone the conflicts of Light and Darkness." he said. "As it's going on inside of me!" He got knocked back, but blocked the attacks with his Keyblades. He tried to push him back so he could use magic on him.

Xylla appeared back nest to Sin.

" Are we not going to help? Letting this Octavia win this battle could end badly even for the Darkness." She said folding her arms over chest watching him and Kyle fight.

" Its so boring to be watching..." She sighed sitting on the edge of the roof and swinging her legs. Of course she enever really battled like this, she was always ent on scouting or assassination jobs.

{Octavian}

Octavian stumbled back from Kyle's push, but moved closer again, using his Keyblade to probe Kyle's defenses.

"Then why fight so hard for unattainable balance?" he asked as he worked his blade. "You have talent. If you were to embrace a side, you could become a warrior few could match!"

Octavian speared a moment for a look. He knew he was being watched. Though he could not see them, he gave Xylla and Sin a wink. He then returned his gaze to the fight.

 

{Dane}

Dane's Keyblade dipped down, below one of the dark soldier's defenses and stabbed through the other man's belly. He kicked the corpse off his blade and began to run again. More soldiers moved to stop him, but he batted their attacks aside. He had to stop that fire.

She nodded as Dane ran towards the fire. She unsheathed her knife, about as long as her upper arm, and took a head-on towards Loki. She whizzed by him, catching him on his arm.

"I was on the side of Darkness before." he said. "But it didn't work out for me when I killed my own brother!" He backed up and fired a thunderbolt at him.

{Octavian}

Octavian managed to block most of the thunderbolt, though it still managed to singe a few chest hairs.

"Then he was weak." the Dark Master taunted. "If he could not use the Light well enough to save himself, than he deserved his fate."

He then answered Kyle's magic with his own, sending an ice shard straight for Kyle.

 

{Dane}

Dane blocked the attack of a soldier as he used another as a spring board to launch himself onto the roofs of nearby buildings. Now on a clearer path, Dane redoubled his pace. As he he saw the fire spreading, he realized he had no plan to stop it.

"Ah, well." he thought. "Something will come up."

Kyle dodged the ice attack and slashed at him again.

Five Dancer Nobodys went past Dane before summoning water to help put out the fires as they skated around. Eternal was now behind Octavian as he spun the Two Red Struggle Bats. "You know what I recognize you from one of my missions. Now I get to have the chance to beat you up. Now that's pretty good for me at least." He swung the Struggle Bats at Octavian before back flipping. He was going to do this the fun way.

She froze suddenly. She felt giant tip in the balance of Dark and Light. She went back to where she had opened a portal, heading back to camp to see if anyone else knew.

sin watched her leave and return he looked around "fire..."he looked back into his past he knew who was behind it all he sat down on the hous "..fight ..kill.. thos are the jobs of war."he somewhat clapped his hands.he couldent really answer her "..it all ends up the.. same let them fight .."

{Octavian}

Octavian tsked.

"Two against one." he commented. "Not what I was hoping for in the battle."

He snapped his fingers and was swallowed be a dark portal. Eight soldiers filed out of the portal, four facing Kyle, the other four on Eternal. Octavian reappeared on the Clock Tower.

"Now." he called to Kyle and Eternal. "Let's see who can get to me first."

The soldiers leaped and attacked.

 

{Dane}

Dane stopped in his tracks and stared at the Nobodies.

"Well," he said to himself. "Something always works out."

He turned to see more dark soldiers heading towards civilians and were the others were fighting that dark guy.

"Hey!" Dane yelled at the soldiers.

He ran and leaped off the roof and landed in the middle of the soldiers.

"Ready to play?" he asked with a big grin on his face.

He then started whirling his Keyblade around and attacking the soldiers.

"Back off Eternal, this is my fight!" he said. Spinning around, he started slashing at the soldiers, cutting them down one-by-one. When he was finished, he started running up the side of the clock tower, heading for Octavion.
