Fainezza hopped into one of the holes in the building, trying to find supplies not completely blown to pieces. She found a few people stuck under the rubble, and had to carry a few out because of severe injuries. Luckily everyone she found was in good condition. They really left us crippled. She thought despairingly. At least Kyle has his X-Blade thing. It seemed to scare Octavian off for a while. At least.

"What do you want to talk about Sin?" he asked. Kyle seemed calmer, because he was finally at pease within himself. He even smiled a bit at Sin.

sin looked at him "...you know i cant freindly smile.."he looked around for a minute"well talk after clean up"he looked at the girl and movec his eyes to tell her to go help

{Dane}

Dane pulled out a woman and a child from a building that had been hit hard. Luckily, those two were the only two in that building and they were scared and injured, but alive. After some profuse thanks from the woman who was being treated by a paramedic who had arrived with a team and checking on survivors. As Dane looked around, he saw that there were other rescue units from the city helping recover the people who were still alive. He could even see some volunteers helping out. Though the whole situation struck a guilt cord for Dane, it was still good to see people pull together like this.

"I feared this would happen sooner or later." a voice said from behind Dane.

The young Keyblade wielder turned to see a middle aged man in a nice suit looking over the scene with sad, yet determined eyes.

"I'm sorry it happened." Dane said, truthfully.

He whipped off his good hand on his pants and offered it to the man.

"I'm Dane Shard. I'm a member of Twilight."

The man took the offered hand in a strong grip.

"Thaddeus Oket." He said with a slight bow of his head. "Mayor of Twilight Town."

 

{Octavian}

Octavian arched an eyebrow to get the captured Light Soldier to continue with the broadcast. The soldier silently gulped and did as instructed.

"I saw the X-Blade with my own eyes, sir." the soldier said into the radio he was captured with. "A man had it in Twilight Town."

Octavian heard the Light Keyblade Master over the radio swear.

"What side was he?" the master demanded, his voice distorted by the radio. "Darkness? Light?"

"Neither, sir." The soldier replied as he had been coached. "He appeared to work for Twilight."

There was silence from the radio for a few moments.

"Understood, Corporeal." it finally transmitted. "Continue with your recon mission. Command will deal with this X-Blade sighting."

"Yes sir."

Octavian took the radio, turned it off and crushed it in his hand.

"Well done, Corporeal." he complimented, a smile on his face. "I nearly believed yo myself."

The soldier's face looked panicked and fearful.

"Ar..are you goin' to let me go, as you promised?" he asked in a small voice.

Octavian's smile got bigger.

"Of course."

He summoned his Keyblade and arched it down as the captured soldier. The soldier screamed in terror and shut his eyes. He reopened them a few moments later to see his bounds were cut, with the Dark Keyblade Master facing away from him with no blade in hand.

"You had better run." Octavian said, not turning around. "I have little patience for cowards."

The Light soldier obliged and ran.

"Alright." Kyle said. He went back to helping people and cleaning up the mess the battle caused.

Fainezza eyed Sin warily. Something just didn't feel right about him. Especially considering the fact he just hung around and watched while Twlight Town was under attack. Sighing, she gathered up some of the good bricks and walked over to a building with a large hole, and began to help the other volunteers.

{Dane}

Dane bowed slightly.

"Good to met you, Mister Mayor." He said. "Just..."

"Not under these circumstances?" The mayor finished. "The feeling is mutual."

He looked around at the damage done to his town. He looked at it with a grim look.

"I knew that one day, one of the factions would come and give Twilight Town a good going over. No matter who we sided with."

Dane nodded his agreement.

"Though I had thought I would have more time to pick sides than this." The mayor continued.

He turned and stared into Dane's eyes.

"Those Dark soldiers were here for something. What was it?"

Dane shrugged.

"It could have been a simple display of power." Dane conjectured. "A grab for land and/or other resources. But..."

Dane paused, not wanting to say what else he thought, but knew he had to.

"They could have also been here for the Twilight members here."

The Mayor gave Dane a questioning look.

"The base here in Twilight Town is one of the most public ones Twilight has. It's loss would have scared those who would openly join Twilight to forge a peace."

 

Meanwhile:

Ten armored figures exited a Light portal a mile or so from Twilight Town. They had been picked from one of the most zealous orders of the Light to deal with this threat of the X-Blade in the hands of a Twilight warrior. They came to retrieve or destroy it at all costs.

They set out quietly to find the one who had the X-Blade.

~Amykara~

 

The feared has come to pass. The X-Blade has been created, and is in the hands of a Twlight member. It could have been worse, Darkness could have got it. She thought grimly. She pulled the shade tighter over her face. She despised these kind of missions. However, it was a war, and causalties would need to be taken. This X-Blade was among the worst of all threats, and therefore, must be terminated.

Kyle was working hard rescuing as many people as he could, and healing them with cure magic. He wiped the sweat from his brow and said "So, how have you been Sin? It's been a while."

Xylla sighed then started sifting through the ruined houses for survivors. She pulled out a couple people but it was mostly just wood and rubble. How did I end up doing this again? She asked herself already knowing the answer. She already missed being on her own. It was easier that way. No attachments, no burdens.

the kid opened his mouth for a second 'we were....attacked...' the kid then fainted 'great i wont be getting much info outta him' fang thought as he carried the kid to a paramedic and walked away. then fang saw two people talked to each other as one healed the injured 'hey you two do you know what happened here?'.

{Dane}

The Mayor of Twilight Town said nothing for several moments. Dane began to worry that he would throw the members of Twilight out of his city. The mayor took in a deep breath and let it out.

"The there is only one thing for it." He said with finality.

He looked at Dane.

"If we are to end this war, hard choices will have to be made. The first one of mine has been to officially and publicly commit this town to Twilight. There is nothing else for it now."

The mayor placed a hand on Dane's good shoulder.

"Though today has brought pain to many, we shall still stand with you between Light and Darkness."

Dane let out a breath of relief.

"Thank you, sir." he said.

 

{Octavian}

In an empty house Xylla was checking, Octavian stepped out of a shadow and bowed.

"Hello." he said.

He picked up a fallen chair, righted it and sat.

"Forgive my intrusion, but I have yet to get a grasp on your doings and motives. You seem to be allied with Darkness, yet here you are, helping Twilight and neutrals. Why, may I ask?"

 

Meanwhile:

The leader of the Light team sent to Twilight Town called a halt at the edge of town.

"Amykara." he called. "You take point. We'll be right behind you and cover your flank."

Xylloa jumped in suprise.

" What are you doing here! Your the reason I'm doing this stupid work!" She nearly yelled pointing her gun at him.

" My motives are non of your concern." She added darkly her eyes narrowing. The darkness in her started taking over. Xylla fought it trying to keep herself calm.

{Octavian}

Octavian didn't react to Xylla's outburst or weapon pointing. He eyed her with interest.

"I could argue against that, but it would take time and most likely be fruitless." he commented. "Very well. I will withdraw any questioning as to your motives. Then let me simply ask you this for your own consideration. If you dislike what you are doing so much, why do it? You had nothing to do with this battle. You owe nothing to anyone. Why not simply leave?"

~Amykara~

 

She nodded and quietly began moving through the throngs of people. She looked among all of the Twlight members, trying to find one with a calm balance about them, having won the battle of the Darkness and Light in their hearts. Amykara sighed, she had a soft spot for Twlight members, and hoped it wouldn't e as hard as they'd come prepared for. She squinted her eyes at one of the male Twlight members. He was rescuing people, and curing them. She motioned to one of her fellow Light members and pointed to him. "That one, I believe."

(I'm finally back)

 

Loki went in Twilight Town back and said: "X-Blade, that thing is not so much, it will consume user anyway if it used too long by weak boy like that. As long as I have Void with me, I don't have anything to fear. Or where there even fear in beginning?" Loki was outskirts of mansion in forest and sitted in tree. "How long does this world have to be like this?"

The Light Captain nodded and all the soldiers arrayed out in formation in the square Kyle was in.

"We are here for the X-Blade!" the captain yelled, pointing his Keyblade at Kyle. "Give it up, or give up your life."

 

{Dane}

Dane heard the challenge from the Light Captain and moved to get a look at them. He silently cursed. Most of those there were die hard Light followers who wouldn't back down and listen to reason. Dane stepped up.

"Weapons down, gentlemen." he said in a commanding tone his old master used to great effect. "We've got wounded here and don't have time to deal with another battle."

"As Dane said, we've got wounded and we're cleaning up after a battle witht he darkness. I do not want to fight you, as we're seeking peace, but I will not, and can not, give up the X-Blade." Kyle said. "So drop your weapons and please leave."

~Amykara~

 

Amykara shot a glare at the Light captain. Oh why did they have to be so harsh? She sighed and turned to the newcomer. "We don't want to start another battle." she replied shooting a pointed glance at the captain. "We only come for the X-Blade."

Xylla ignored the man infront of her and peaked out the window to see the light vaptin. She sighed holding back from cursing. Time to go. She told herself then glanced over at the man. He sureis strange. She thought before slipping out the back of the house keeping her finger on the trigger of her gun. She backed away from the scene slowly so not to make a sound. I guess Sin will just have to figure out his goal on his own. Xylla decided.

sin stood around for a few minutes watching everyone met up he didnt look like to much of in a rush so he took his time he didint pay much attention to some of the small talk but he lowered his head and slightly moved his eyes over to where Xylla was i knew you would end up an enemy.....oh well.he didint say much to anyone and wanted theam to get done talking but he was hoping that the warning he had giving the girl would play in her mind becous his mind was already thinking to the point of her death it self.

At that moment, a bright yet considerably large blast of dense, red plasma shook the ground behind Sin. Out of the smoke that had cleared had appeared a young man with eyes the color of blood walked toward Sin with anger that struck the trembling warriors with fear.

"We finally meet again, Sin. It took a while to find you......"Red had said as he made sure his gloves were tight.

fang noticed her sneaking away since he was bored and nothing to do he decided to follow her without her knowing he was there. he suddenly felt something no person from darkness forgot 'light keybladers?! here? why would they be here?' he thought to himself he left the girl behind and went to where saw some twilight members with light members who looked like they were here for trouble. 'i probably shouldnt let them see me since they put a bounty on my head' fang thought as he watched from a rooftop.
