Luna☆ 108 Posted February 20, 2012 I'm sold completely! I love the whole idea how having pets in Kingdom Hearts 3D I want to get them all because they're so adorable especially Wonder Meow! It's kinda like having Nintendogs in KH3D.
xemnas_is_#_1 1 Posted February 20, 2012 yea i am kinda mad i think the only reason they did it was to appeal to a younger audience its not like they needed anymore collectables now there adding pets i never thought kh was that kind of game
WatersGood 45 Posted February 20, 2012 Pet idea? Oh right, nintendogs just KH. Yup, I'm sold, but that might just be because I like cute stuff like that. Trying to expand their audiences? AW SAVE THE POOR SOUL WHO PICKS THIS UP WITHOUT KNOWING OF THE REST OF THE SERIES. Mm, well I just think they like doing new stuff. It sure is interesting and playing with them apparently does pay off. 1 xemnas_is_#_1 reacted to this
Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted February 20, 2012 I don't really like the "Dream Eater Ally" Idea. They seem a little... too... I don't the word... Cutesie for Kingdom Hearts I guess? 1 xemnas_is_#_1 reacted to this
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted February 20, 2012 I agree with Tycen on the cutsie thing, but it's not like the Dream Eaters are running around with you the whole time. As for just adding them as collectibles... why not? It's an active collection process, as opposed to just going somewhere and grabbing something out of a chest. 1 xemnas_is_#_1 reacted to this
Kishira 2,854 Posted February 20, 2012 At first, I HATED the idea of these things fighting along side Sora and Riku. They seemed totally out of place, and just plain stupid looking; I was mad at Nomura for a couple of weeks. >____< But as time went on....and more info on these creatures came up....and when they introduced us to Neko Cat......I felt myself grow fond of them. -sniffle- Damn brightly colored obnoxious looking derpy creatures have me liking them. Phooey. ;////; 1 xemnas_is_#_1 reacted to this

Dave 5,715 Posted February 20, 2012 I'll confess I'm not completely sold on the Dream Eater design, mainly because I'm a grumpy old man who hates "cute." That said, having watched some more of the gameplay footage, I think they're integrated well enough to not be a distraction, and will act as something like Forms or Summons: there if you need them, but not totally necessary. As for the collectable aspect, I think it's a harmless enough addition, and gives you something else to play around with if the mood arises.
