Nomura stated what happend in an interveiw.Maleficent wants that journal from coded and took minnie hostage too get it from them.And it looks like it's Lea to the rescue

I recall Nomura saying that there was an elephant blocking the front of Maleficent's castle, and after several failed attempts to try and remove it, Pete suggested they get a mouse to scare it away......and that is how they ended up in Disney Castle.

—The scene where King Mickey confronts Maleficent caught our attention. At what time period does that scene occur?

 

Nomura: It occurs after Re:Coded, during the KH3D period. Since King Mickey is in possession of the “Data Worlds”, Maleficent is demanding that he hand them over. This scene occurs in between intervals of Sora and Riku’s adventure.
