    • It's pretty nice. In fact, it's one of my favorites, if not the one I love the most.

I love it!

It's always difficult to choose whether new things are my favorite or not--I mean, I love ALL the coverarts. I still think Kingdom Hearts one is my favorite though. It's just so mysterious and dark^^

 

And I love how this resembles the chain of memories cover--just like then, Sora and Riku are on their own separate journeys. But back then, Sora was searching for his light (Kairi, Namine, his memories, all can be argued to be his "Light") while Riku came to terms with his darkness. Only now...will Sora drop in to darkness as Riku finds the light? Or do they both learn acceptance? Not that I can think of any logical reason for Sora to turn to the darkside, but, meh. And I wonder if Mickey actually plays a larger role than usual since he's on the cover. I mean, he's been on other covers, but this one seems to feature mostly Sora and Riku, so Mickey seems out of place unless he's important. Hmm...he uses the light, has a keyblade of darkness...

 

EDIT: Just noticed that Sora seems to be falling and Mickey trying to catch him, while Riku's rising...almost like he's leaving him behind? That seems strange, though. And I wonder if Sora falling has anything to do with the ambiguous comments Namine made about the pain possibly being too much for Sora...I mean, he seems to have quite a bit going on in his heart.
