TheBucket2 114 Posted February 8, 2012 So, I've never 100% played through the CoM story (though I know the storyline and all), but I have a question about something. I can't remember every small detail, so forgive me if this was explained or not but...was there an explanation as to how exactly Marluxia got such power? Is it just left as "well, he's a more-than-average powerful Nobody"? Or was there something about that room in the castle (which I doubt, since that doesn't make sense now that we know its origins.) So yeah, I can't remember if it says he got his powers from somewhere external or not.

Shard the Gentleman 2,891 Posted February 9, 2012 As far as I remember, Marluxia was walking around when he found Namine', and then he whispered into her ear: "These are not my pants." ... Maybe that was a youtube video I saw. Idk, I haven't played Re:COM in forever.
TheBucket2 114 Posted February 9, 2012 ....wow....so this is what happens to a thread when you leave it alone for awhile.....huh..... But i'll just assume this all meant there is no canon answer to it...
VoidXName 346 Posted February 9, 2012 Actually Marluxia wasn't that powerful. Axel, Riku Replica, and even Maleficents dragon form were all more difficult to beat. Marluxia was a good leader. Well actually he wasn't. He was a good hair stylist? Gardener. He was a good gardener. 2 Shard the Gentleman and wayfinder823 reacted to this
flurryflames 7 Posted February 21, 2012 Marluxia was a real coward who knew he could not beat Axel so he used a shield with a timid girl hoping he would of had second thoughts of going after him. The creature that Marluxia had was an arc angel of some kind. The pink flowers were actually poisoness sakura petals. You have that with a upside down hose looking scythe you have the gay version of the grip reaper. .
Shazzam 142 Posted March 4, 2012 I think the best explanation would be that since Marluxia was made lord of the castle, that granted him unique powers and explains the creature I guess.
Zenithia 305 Posted March 4, 2012 tutti frutti. Outside of what everyone else above be stated, which I agree with here and there, I just assumed that he had something similar to those abilities from being a Somebody and developed them to a higher degree as a Nobody. Other than that, I say go with Rob's theory. It's straight to tbe point and no headaches.
VoidXName 346 Posted March 4, 2012 The best answer is: it's Square Enix. You have to have the final boss transorm at least once.

AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted March 23, 2012 When you plan to betray the Organization, you've gotta have power to back it up. He probably spent forever trying to build all of that up (in secret, of course). Holy chizz, a real answer. That makes... I don't know, two? Three in this thread? wayfinder823 477 Posted March 23, 2012 I thought Marluxia was a "sheman". He was originally supposed to be a woman, but Nomura changed it last minute because he felt that Xehanort wouldn't give a female a lot of power like that. Or at least--I believe that's what I read somewhere.

Or at least--I believe that's what I read somewhere. First off, I already mentioned this fact about Marluxia.Secondly, Nomuras reasoning was that he didnt want both traitors to be female
