King Mickey 46 Posted February 1, 2012 I know this had probably been answered before... but im just a little confused about the whole BBSv2 thing. I know its part of the final mix video but... What is the point of it? Is it supposed to hint at a future title? i thought KH3 was going to be the next title after KH 3D? thanks in advance for the help! Tails 6,690 Posted February 1, 2012 Well, many people assume that BBSv2 will take place after the events of BBS during the days that Aqua had spent in the Realm of Darkness. Rob 5,571 Posted February 1, 2012 Just like every KH secret ending, it hints at a new game. BBS V2 isn't confirmed, but if what's shown in it doesn't happen in KH3D then it's clear it will be a game. Nomura said he wanted to explain Riku and Mickey's absence before KH3, and as shown in the secret ending, we saw new scenes we haven't saw before. And right now it seems like the next game will be KH3 (unless Versus is STILL not done. Seriously is it done yet? I lost interest in Versus 4 years ago >_>). I dout it will be another game but maybe a secret part to 3D like how in the Re'CoM had the Reverse Rebirth. Might be another game part of the other game. Nonetheless if Square did made BBSv2, it could range anything from: a new game OR a DLC for the already existing KHBBS which extends the story? A CGI film detailing Aqua's time in the dark realm? (you know, like advent children ~ I wouldn't mind a CGI film given how awesome the CGI FMVs sequences were for the already existing KH games) A novel sequel to the already existing KHBBS series? (Maybe BBSv2 might be a novel series written by Kanemaki...although the canon of the novel series has yet to be questioned) A code name for KH3 or KH3D? If they do make this game (which I think they will, because it's going to be a long wait between KH3D and KH3) I bet it'll probably be about answering all of questions and mysteries surrounding Riku and Mickey. Hate to disagree with an expert, but BBSv2, as mentioned by this topic's starter, there was in a video in BBS Final Mix that at the end of it had the words, "Birth By Sleep - Volume Two-" on the screen. So whether or not it is an actual game, or part of a future game, it's not fan generated and is going to happen. Here's a link to that KHBBSFM secret ending. Beta 102 Posted February 1, 2012 I am going to guess that BBSv2 is either non-existent or it's KH III or KH3D or it can be several clips of something that will happen in the both games. True that KH3D didn't have those clips in them till NOW but you know they won't just reveal everything in a trailer you know. Nomura loves surprises and we all know that and he exactly does exactly the opposite of what fans think (storyline wise). But all this is just my opinion.
