Tom 437 Posted January 30, 2012 I drink about 3-5 cans of soda everyday, and I can still manage to post a lot better than about 75% of the members here on this site. Pahlease. I think I'm fine. Seriously, soda causes hidden fat? Soda makes you fat regardless. Really, there's no pointing in trying to scare the American population with hidden fat, when soda is one of the leading obesitiy problems (BTW I'm not fat, just normal weight). Oh lookie here, all these dieases and health problems. Get in line, you have a bajillion others to worry about. I'm not even going to live long enough before these effects kick in, so I say continue on for me 1 Kaiso reacted to this
Rob 5,571 Posted January 30, 2012 I've been drinking soda for decades, nothing got damaged.
Kaiso 2,764 Posted January 30, 2012 I have been drinking soda more often than a person probably should all my life. I don't drink it all the time I still have other beverages here and there, but I really don't find the whole, "Soda makes you dumb" thing to be true. Granted I'm not top 10% of my class but I'm certainly above average. Honestly yeah soda isn't the best drink for you. You're mostly drinking chemicals more than anything but there is nothing wrong if you have one here and there as long as it's not a person's only beverage. Sometimes the drink makes you hungrier causing you to consume more and more food which means more calories a person will intake. That's not always good but eh... Telling people, "OHHH THERE'S HEALTH RISKS TO THIS" does pretty much the same effect as it does to oh say... most of the people who smoke for example: pretty much nothing. Most are fully aware of the risks of smoking and yet they still do it anyway. Saying that there are health risks to drinking sodas is pretty much the same deal because many people are going to consume it anyways. :U

AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted January 31, 2012 I drink soda every day while holding my medical degree. Suck on that, Yahoo! Plus, everything damages you. Close your windows, turn off all of the lights (the dark hurts you less...), and sleep for the rest of your life. No, wait. Too much sleep is bad for you, too... A mystery 346 Posted January 31, 2012 I don't drink soda at all. I will usually just drink water, tea,or juice. I suppose a soda now an then wouldn't hurt, but I just don't like them.

Plus you need sunlight for your body to process vitamin c. @topic I used to drink a lot of soda, but I just got sick of that crap. And then of course Pepsi co. says that mountain dew can dissolve a whole mouse. Gross. Now drink about a gallon of water a day and if I need caffine I'll drink tea or coffee.
