Do you like to play games where you can customize the character's appearance?

Hm... To me it doesn't really matter. And if it has, I barely spend some time customizing it. I prefer to go directly to the story.

    • Yeah, I love it! In fact, I only play games that contain that feature.

    • Yes, I enjoy customizing it. But it's not something too necessary in my opinion.

    • No, I don't. I think it's completely useless.

    • Nah, and when I play a game that has it, I just use the default character.

I really like customizing my character if i get the chance... but that is mostly in MMORPG games, but still, it would be amazing if you could make your own custom outfit for Sora and company xD

Depending on the depth of customization I like for my character to be like me as much as possible...an example would be Skate 3

It's a cool feature in some games, but it's usually only in MMORPGs and I don't play those. It would be cool if they made KH a little more customizable though :)

I really like being able to customize a character and I spend a great deal of time doing so in the games that provide that feature, but that often leaves involving the character deeply in the story via voice acting and personal interactions with other characters hard to pull off. Sora is Sora because that's who he was designed to be. The series wouldn't be the same if people got to customize the character but then didn't get any control over how he reacts to others. It's great for some games, but not for others.

if y can make him look like shadow the hedgehog, then yes.

Yeah, I like having that ability, but I don't find it very necessary. It's just a whatever thing for me.

i like customization games but in a game like kh game i can do without (one exception is bbs color changes)

I LOVE customization. The lack of which won't stop me from buying a game but the addition of customization is definitely something that will help me purchase said game.

Customization makes games a lot more fun, playing as a character that YOU created makes the experience a lot more immersive and you like your character a lot better. It can make a story a lot more exciting too as seeing something you created in peril definitely leaves much more of an impact.

Plus I like it when you can customize things to ridiculousness, like dressing up Chuck Green as a prostitute in Dead Rising 2 makes serious moments extremely hilarious. Of course I will only do such things on a second play through or in a game I don't really care about the story.

I like the ability to, like in Skyrim or White Knight, but it's not really a big thing for me.

Yes. It's usually one of the last things I think devs should focus on unless the game revolves around it though.

I really like being able to customize, but it's not necessary.

Like in Pokemon Battle Revolution, I loved the aspect of customizable trainers.

Lol that was going to be my post.

Nah whatever

I like the feature, and I wish more games would give at least some customization options, but it won't kill a game for me. I can enjoy a game with set main character just as much as a game with a custom main character.

If by appearance you mean clothes, then yes! I loved having scenes in KH2 where Sora would be in his different forms. But it's not my number one priority in games.

When I used to play MMORPGs, this was a big selling point xD That and a girl and boy for each class. I am, however, looking forward to customizing my Dream Eaters ^^

Depends on what's available.

If a game has that option, then it's cool. If it doesn't, then I don't sweat it. Games like Pokemon could really use it, though.

-accidental double post-

I like to customize my characters a little bit, but usually jump right into the story.

I always love some good customization. Usually if they upgrade your abilities like in MMORPG's. But if it doesn't have it it's not a big issue. I heard FFXIII-2 had an option to where you can change your character's appearance.

I feel that video game companies should make the character look the way they want it to look and that they should tell the story they are trying to tell. When video games does this, it just makes the games seem pointless, so I don't even play MMOs.
