And both games were reviewed by the same person-- who is a big fan of the FF series. +Bigger Worlds +Improved Battles -No Closure -Too Automated Thoughts? The ending(s) turned me off from getting the game, especially since I'm kind of a fence-sitter on the original. EDIT: my apologies, I wasn't reading particularly closely. His opinion of FF XIII probably significantly declined after he did his review for it (which happens a lot). This is why I find reviews sometimes sketchy (yes, coming from an unprofessional reviewer). It's hard to put together your thoughts on a movie or game review only a few hours after you've beaten it, and the guys who get early review copies are given only a specific amount of time to play through and write a review for a game.
