I came here thinking it was official and now I'm sad.... And I'm extra sad because I was thinking about pre-ordering it with the $60 I just got and I remembered I don't even have a 3Ds yet v.v

I'm a new comer but a hardcore fan of the series. while looking up days and re coded on candian gamestop site, i ran across the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D. it's on Preorder, and the release date is July 1st, 2012.

Sorry to say it, but sadly this is a placeholder release date. As some other users pointed out, there are many reasons for this.

 

Also, it will probably be out on July 24, since it's a Tuesday.

Yeah but then again. Remember how Europe got the 3DS before us? Maybe Europe will get it before us and we'll get it the next Tuesday. That would suck. It should be three days apart. But, the Europeans really miss out on a lot of games, especially RPGs. So I would like it to be fair.

But it's Square, who usually releases games in NA before EU. I'm assuming the game will come out on a Tuesday in NA, and then Friday of that week in EU.

I know. And BBS came out three days after the NA release. When I contacted them, they told me Summer 2012. But of course, I think we all know what that means. It will be out then on July 24. It's a Tuesday and it's three days before the EU release date.

I've never really understood placeholder dates. They should at least try to be realistic with them. When sites made placeholder dates for KH3D, why didn't they choose to make it a Tuesday in summer, which actually could be possible?

No. My September 18 date was a speculation. I said I thought that was the date because of the Japanese date. I was wrong. The people I know from SE are PR people from both America and Japan. Don't worry. I'm not going to lie.

Read it. IT WAS A SPECULATION. I gathered all the information I could by searching online and thought that the date would be when it was released. So, you can say it's coming out in June, I'm not saying you did. But I can't say it's coming out in September? I just took the facts and made a speculation of why that MIGHT be the release date. When exactly did I say that was the Word of God OFFICIAL release date? Just saying, I don't want to start anything.

The problem isnt with you speculating bc we all are...But in that thread and the one that got locked you said in your own words that it wasnt speculation ,that it would definitely be released on Sept- Oct esp sept 18..Those are your words. I talk about knowing people from SE. And then I say I think it will be released then. I didn't see definitely. I was talking about not being a noob because of what I was called. What did I lie about? I won't say I know any companies. It upsets people and makes people think I'm lying. When the truth is, I'm going to be a game developer when I'm older, so I wanted to know more people, like Shimomura-chan, and everyone else. I know I'm 14, but I've got a great idea for a game, so I tried to meet whoever I could. I'n going to DigiPen when I'm 18.

 

I love KH. I've been playing it since I was little. I'm not a bad person. I just know too much. I think it's ironic I'm posting about this in a release date topic.

SE always releases their games on Tuesdays in NA. That's just the way they do it.

Last time it took 9 months at least for us in europe so im gonna go with december but i hope it comes out earlier
