Here's the first ever unboxing of the Wii U.

After watching this video. It is decided that I am going to save up for the Wii U now. Luckily for me, Nintendo recently stated that there will be a lot of Wii U units for America than there will be for Europe and Japan (suprised that Japan isn't getting as much units as America). So I don't have to worry about GameStop or any other stores running out

Wow, I've heard so little of it, that I didn't know it was actually a console with a kinda handheld control. For me, it was just the Game Pad! Seems nice and cool, but i'm definetely waiting for a price drop. It must cost a fortune by now... Surely it'll get a lot cheaper if you wait a little.

Sorry, but I have to ask, am I the only one who thinks it's a console that brings a handheld problem: recharging batery. I mean, isn't it annoying to be playing a game and suddenly you see you don't have a lot of time because the batery is running out, and you quickly look around for a save point, and sometimes you don't even find? It pisses me of at least

I tried Rayman on the WiiU at Gamestop with my brother

 

the only problem is that the gamepad was small for his hands, but he loved controlling the frog and controlling the mapout of the area

Not really a problem. All current gen systems have wireless controllers that drain the battery surprisingly fast. As long as it comes with a wire you can plug into the system, its fine.

PS3 Dualshock 3 controllers charge in like 2 hours and you can use them for like 20 hours, thats not fast for a rechargeable battery, that's really long

I would get one, I just don't have the money. Asking for anything expensive for Christmas/Birthday is out of the question, since I'm going on a school trip to Europe this summer, and it costs a few thousand, (not that I'm complaining, international trip>video games).

 

We'll probably get one eventually. Heck, I'll most likely have a job before we move onto the next generation, so I could buy it then.

So yeah im in ninth grade and Fourteen.. Gonna be fifteen in January 31st and I really wants a Wii U .. I mean people say OH PS3 IS BETTER And I say yeah I see the cool games Cool games meaning Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and... UNCHARTED YEAH.. And little big planet is okay.. platforming is floaty honestly.. BUT thats NOT my point Im just stating I need two hundred more bucks for a Wii U and Its gonna be a pain in my ass to get a part time job ,, But yeah I was wondering who else had a Wii U and if anyone has any ways to convince me I should get a Wii U
