Uncle Dolan 963 Posted September 15, 2012 (edited) Someone's trying to sell a Deluxe set for $900 on eBay. SERIOUS TIME GUYS! But seriously, go get your pre-orders in somewhere. A guide on pre-ordering the Wii U is up on the OP. ------------ http://go.redirectin...on-ebay-for-900 Edited September 15, 2012 by Uncle Dolan
Zenithia 305 Posted September 15, 2012 tutti frutti. My local Gamestops had already stop with pre-orders on the Wii U. Good thing I got mine in in time.
Uncle Dolan 963 Posted September 16, 2012 Updated the pre-order guide! Get your pre-order in before they're gone!
wondermeow523 161 Posted September 16, 2012 Most Wii U consoles are sold out in many places already, and I planned on getting the deluxe, but at gamestop the guy told me I could only get the normal package at this point. So I did, but I'm kinda miffed, though I'm glad I still got one before even the white ones ran out! Did anyone else run into this problem?
VanitasisKirby 1,227 Posted September 16, 2012 Well, the guy before me did I pre-ordered the Premium, luckily I was able to get the very last one. Then the guy before tried to get one, and they were all sold out Now I kind of feel bad 1 wondermeow523 reacted to this
Master Juan 574 Posted September 16, 2012 I'll wait until a title actually worth buying is announced.
Uncle Dolan 963 Posted September 16, 2012 (edited) I'll wait until a title actually worth buying is announced. Um, what? Bayonetta 2 should answer your question. If not, New Super Mario Bros. U, Zelda Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, ZombiU, The Wonderful 101, and Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate should. If those aren't 'worth buying', then GTFO you casual. I got (my dad) got my pre-order in around the first few minutes they opened. So glad he did that for me. Ok I'll buy it once Zelda and SSB are even close to being done, that way the price will be down and the games will be out, and NSMBU looks only like an HD NSMBW... pretty much every 2d mario game looks the same now a days. And no, Bayonetta 2 does not justify buying an entire console for 1 game, because the first game sucked. More japanese mind-f*** plots just don't do it for me. Quit hunting me down when I disagree about the Wii U too, its creepy....
Oniaku 280 Posted September 16, 2012 I might buy it for super smash bros.

I have to agree with Master Juan on jumping him all because he disagrees with something about the Wii U. Not everyone has the money to afford one, y'know. I was going to get the Wii U premium on first day but all of the pre-orders for it are sold out everywhere. So I am just going to wait until either a price drop happens. or until there's a much better bundle for the Wii U. Not that I am a big Nintendo fan but you don't see me jumping on everyone that isn't getting a Wii U. And if you've noticed, the Wii U is a bit too pricy especially in Japan. XIIISwords 1,059 Posted September 17, 2012 KH 3D, Pokemon B2W2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy Type-0, some other stuff I can't remember for some reason... I've got enough games to buy right now. I'll wait until Smash Bros comes out for it.
Tails 6,690 Posted September 24, 2012 The latest edition of Japanese gaming bible Famitsu has revealed that Wii U will be region locked. The news shouldn’t come as too big a surprise to many as both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii are region locked. Still, it would have been nice if the console was region free like the PlayStation 3. “What can be played on the Wii U is restricted by a region-lock feature; software not sold in the same region cannot be played. Weedanort 8,786 Posted September 24, 2012 So no big surprise there.

Zenithia 305 Posted September 24, 2012 tutti frutti. This is no real shocker, but I would more so think that it would be due to economic reasons behind doing that for each region.
Caity 3,946 Posted September 24, 2012 I was never really interested in the Wii U to begin with, but I see region locking as an act of satin to try and drive people to suicide (The frustration i've felt trying to find a way to get RE:COM to work on a PAL PS2 is unreal) 1 Xalaru reacted to this

Henne 150 Posted September 24, 2012 Stuuupid~ DS was nice - no region lock, I could import my stuff for less money and got it much earlier... good ol' time. Well, I was never intereseted in the Wii U so... yeah.
