Tsunamo 62 Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) wii became useless after kinect came out and from the wii u trailers it doesn't seem that but i may change my mind when i see it If that's what you think fair enough, and I get the feeling you will! The console was still in development when it was first shown, so alot of the things shown for the system last year were tech demos and nothing more, not really the best representation of what it'll be like when it launches.. We'll find out next week though! To tell the truth, I don't know exactly what it is. Never heard about it. It's the nem generation of the Wii? Yup, sure is! Even then we still will only know so much because Nintendo will be releasing new info after E3 too. But yeah, as soon as I saw it last year, I was going to buy it. E3 will be the big blowout for information though, we'll probably find out the most about it before launch there. Exodaze 491 Posted June 2, 2012 Depends on the price, because it may cost a ton considering the controller has a screen on it and it does have the console itself too.
Tsunamo 62 Posted June 2, 2012 Depends on the price, because it may cost a ton considering the controller has a screen on it and it does have the console itself too. Nintendo will probably try and keep the price down to as low as they can, they've learned from their mistakes with the 3DS.
Exodaze 491 Posted June 2, 2012 Nintendo will probably try and keep the price down to as low as they can, they've learned from their mistakes with the 3DS. I am still thinking around $300-$350, that is just my bet..
Tsunamo 62 Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) I'm not good with US pricing with systems (living in Australia and all), but 300-350 dollars seems like a good pricepoint for the customer for a next generation (or this generation, considering we're moving into the next generation of gaming now) system on launch. rikufan25 170 Posted June 2, 2012 Nintendo just has to convince the hard core gamers into buying a wii u.

MateusinhoEX 52 Posted June 2, 2012 Yeah, 3DS is a lot expensive, specially here in Brazil.
rikufan25 170 Posted June 2, 2012 Yeah, 3DS is a lot expensive, specially here in Brazil. How much does it cost in Brazil?
Gomu69 2 Posted June 2, 2012 With the price reduction, I'd say it's about R$1,000 over there.
Rob 5,571 Posted June 2, 2012 I have no interest in buying a Nintendo home console.
MateusinhoEX 52 Posted June 2, 2012 How much does it cost in Brazil? Around R$1000, that would be at least US$
4Everbee 1,365 Posted June 2, 2012 Nope. It's most likely gonna be the same as the first.
Gomu69 2 Posted June 3, 2012 I can't even imagine what they would charge for that new controller they designed for it separately.
A mystery 346 Posted June 4, 2012 I will probably buy a Wii u after the price has dropped. It seems like after a system has been out for while Nintendo will drop their prices, like with the 3DS.
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted June 4, 2012 The lack of faith in this thread is disturbing. Anyway, I am not sold on it yet, but it already seems to be way better than the Wii.
