Tails 6,690 Posted January 23, 2012 So, do you plan to get the Wii U when it comes out? I plan on getting one ( but not exactly on the first day it comes out. Getting it when some games like Smash bros and Zelda come out for it). The graphics look great on it and I just know that it will have a great lineup of games over time. I am hoping that it will come with a VC where you can buy GameCube games. That would really convince me (and other Nintendo fans) to buy the Wii U. SoraKH 793 Posted January 23, 2012 Nooooooooo. Why should i spend my money on Wii U? I have the first one and 'm not playing with it that often. Yeah its good i can't say. Awesome graphics, a w whole new system, next generation console.. but i won't buy it... I just don't want it
axel91 161 Posted January 23, 2012 I doubt I'll ever get it, but you never know.
Leaxel 178 Posted January 23, 2012 Add a handheld thingy and call it a new console? Hell no!
-Omaega- 629 Posted January 23, 2012 I put the letter U to my wii and ready. . . .but I don't have wii
Tails 6,690 Posted January 23, 2012 I doubt I'll ever get it, but you never know. And what makes you not want it? I'm sure it will have a great lineup of games as time flows by. And I really hope that the Wii U will have a VC of GC games. Would love to play SA2B, , Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, and Paper Mario TTYD again. Those games made my childhood great. Would love to experience the GC days again. Add a handheld thingy and call it a new console? Hell no!Actually, nintendo officially stated that the Wii U is not a next gen console. But I might get it anyway since it will have a new Zelda and Smash bros game on it. But you shouldn't judge it all because of it's controller. That's like saying you are not getting PS Vita all because of it's touch screen on the back of the handheld. Nintendo ALSO stated that the controller for Wii U is not the official one. They are still working on the controller for Wii U. And said that we will all see the official design at this E3.

I just don't want it the graphics probably won't be awesome they probably be like Xbox 360 or PS3, and then sony and microsofts new consoles will have like 10 times the better graphics then Wii U

I have 0 interest in any of the games you mentioned. The Wii was the first Nintendo console (not counting handhelds) I owned.
Ace326 79 Posted January 23, 2012 the graphics probably won't be awesome they probably be like Xbox 360 or PS3, and then sony and microsofts new consoles will have like 10 times the better graphics then Wii U. Look up information before you start to fanboy. They have all ready stated that the Wii U can support 1080i or p with 60 fps. Something that is extremely hard to do with any other console out right now. Add a handheld thingy and call it a new console? Hell no! Its like Jesus touched the Wii. Now it has a new control, super powerful HD, and more games do to the fact that developers can make games like Skyrim on it. You do realize that Batman Arkham city is coming for it. That's the problem. I have 0 interest in any of the games you mentioned. The Wii was the first Nintendo console (not counting handhelds) I owned. The Wii U will also get games that come to both the PS3 and Xbox360. Batman Arkham City is an example.
axel91 161 Posted January 23, 2012 The Wii U will also get games that come to both the PS3 and Xbox360. Batman Arkham City is an example. Why do I need to get another console for a game that's already available for the PS3 (which I have)?

lizzie1238 538 Posted January 23, 2012 I would like to get the Wii U, but I'm not sure if I could afford it and I doubt my parents would get me one. Also, the only currently announced game that interests me is smash bros, which is coming to 3DS too. And Zelda.
Setrex 1,031 Posted January 23, 2012 I'll get one eventually, I mean I still play my Wii and I own a PS3 but yeah I don't see why I won't get one, I mean Super Smash Bros is coming to it (eventually ) and I am going to buy it for both the Wii U and the 3DS It's like the Vita I'm not going to get one until it's essential for me to own one, I only got a PSP for Birth by Sleep and even I didn't pay for a brand new one. I really don't like the PSP because I think the DS was way more fun............... BUT yeah I'm not getting a Wii U until I *really* need to. 1 lizzie1238 reacted to this
Sammi 63 Posted January 23, 2012 Nope - I still love my Wii and get a lot of good use out of it.
Queen Tery 4,591 Posted January 23, 2012 i will only get it if they put a brand new kingdom hearts or assassins creed game on it. i know there is supposed to be an assassins creed game for it, but its not confirmed if its a port or a new game, completely. 1 axel91 reacted to this
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted January 23, 2012 The Wii U will also get games that come to both the PS3 and Xbox360. Batman Arkham City is an example. Bingo. The Wii had no exclusive games that I would buy, except no More Heroes but they ported it! Any of the blanket games that would come out for it, I'd get for my PS3. Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted January 23, 2012 It looks really really really stupid. But if there is a KH game on it, then yep!
Think Pink 1,967 Posted January 23, 2012 Nah, I haven't played our current Wii in about two years. Haven't played an actual video game in about six months, so it would be a somewhat pointless purchase for me.
coolwings 1,546 Posted January 23, 2012 I might if a Kingdom Heart game comes out on it.

Spectrum of Life 188 Posted January 23, 2012 Yes, it's more a question of "when" for me. If the launch lineup includes Pikmin 3 it'll probably be a day one. Otherwise It'll probably my Birthday next year
lizzie1238 538 Posted January 23, 2012 This is random but I just realized that the name "Wii U" sounds like a firetruck. You know how it goes "weeooh" with the siren?
Rob 5,571 Posted January 23, 2012 I don't buy Nintendo home consoles, only the handhelds.
