Fallout: days gone bye

Recommended Posts

Danny watched as the hulking mass jumped of the the two story building. "what the actual firetruck just happend?" Asked the young man. A giant monster thing had just bursted through the ground, attacked them, and then ran away. And jumped off a building. Danny had half the mind to shoot the creature while it was fleeing, but decided not to. "alrighty... Then..." He said as he looked through the hole, "Lets get off this roof through this conveintly made hole." The young man continued. Danny jumped through the landing onto wornout wooden floor, the weak old floor boards quickly gave way underneath him. 'ow.',is all that echoed through his brain. 'FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU-' "DONT. GO. THIS. WAY." Is all he could get out.

Nate holster his gun and ran towards where Danny was yelling. Nate had an odd feeling about that monster, but he had could worry about that later.

"You!" he yelled, pointing to Hakura as he ran by. "Get rope or something! We'll pull your friend up!"

Nate ran and stopped near the hole Danny made as he fell. He carefully dropped to his hands and knees.

"Yo!" he yelled down the hole. "You still alive?"

Hakura just obeyed and looked for a rope. She successfully found one in her bag and gave it to the guy. I don't even know him but he doesn't seem dangerous, she thought as she went to go help the guy pull Danny out of the hole. She tugged on the rope as Danny climbed out. When he was out, Hakura turned to the guy and said, "thanks, i never really got your name. Im Hakura. And you are??"

"Nate." He said without looking up from the hole. "Nate Fanigan."

Dog rushed over to Nate.

"And that's Dog." He commented.

He looked up at Hakura.

"Pleasure. So, what happened here?"

Hakura smirked. "Well, Danny and i are looking for a better place to live and we just got attacked by that creature thing." She said and looked down at the dog. Hakura wasnt really a pet person, or never got to be one, but it didnt hurt to have a dog around. "Dog?" She asked and giggled. "What an interesting name." She looked up towards the horizon. When will we find "home", she thought and her hair blew a little in the wind

"Son ofa bee sting....." Danny said he said as he dusted the splinters off himself. "Hakura, I dunno If youre really honest, or really foolish." He said standing up "Every stranger we meet dosent have to know what journey we are on.." The young man continued. One thing that stands out about Hakura was that she was honest, which was rare in the world they live in. It may have seemed like he was once again being cold to her, but hey, he wasnt gonna let her get hurt.

Nate chuckled.

"A little secretive, huh?" he said, standing up.

Dog looked up at Hakura and barked happily. Nate dusted of his knees.

"Not that I can blame you for that." he continued. "Not many trustworthy people 'round anymore."

Nate thought a moment. Should he tell them about Bluebasin? They seemed okay.

"Listen, I know a town where a lot of my friends live. It's a bit away from here, but it's safe."

Hakura's eyes widened a bit. A safe town, she thought, could this be possible!? She felt all dirty and her hair was covered in dust and dirt. "A safe town." She repeated in thought. "I don't care how far it is, we can make it!" She said excitedly. Hakura havent got any good news in a long time. She couldnt help but jumping a little.

Nate held up a hand.

"Well, not as save as a Vault, I suppose, but it's pretty safe." he explained. "Called Bluebasin. Some Vault mates o' mine started it up after we were kicked out of our vault."

Dog looked at Nate and whined. He was afraid he and Nate were going back there. Nate had to admit, it wasn't as exciting as living in the wilds, but some times exciting wasn't always what a person wanted.
