Traverse sighed as he looked down. "They are only dimming... so they have a chance... and with Hollow Bastion walking about, I am sure it is going to get worse..."

Mr Scratch stuck his head down between Traverse and Domain.

"Boo." he said in a low, slow tone, giving them both a smile that showed off his fangs.

 

Lana came in through the door.

"Sorry." she said. "Scratch insisted."

Lana took in a deep breath. So, these other people were world's too? How was that even possible?

Traverse Town gave a loud yell as he ducked under the table. "F-FOR CHRISTS SAKE!" He shivered under the table. His heart was pounding so hard under his chest that it almost fell out. When he realized that it was only Scratch, he almost whimpered. He was always intimidated and scared of him. Especially since he always loved to prank people. Which scared him half to death.

 

Twilight Town couldn't help but giggle at the scene. She had to admit she did fell slightly sorry for Traverse Town.

Mr Scratch dropped to the ground, some how landing on his feet.

"You were such a good target, I could not pass the opportunity up." he said, a friendly smile dominating his face.

He gave a large, graceful bow.

"A pleasure to see you all again."

He stood up and swept a hand towards Lana.

"This is my friend, Lana. She knows."

Lana waved, feeling a little self conscious.

Traverse Town got up and sat back down on the chair he tipped over. He straightened himself out. He can still feel his hands shacking from the sudden scare. He looked to Lana. "Hello Lana..." he said, kind of nervous that a human knows their secret. It's not that he didn't mind. He really didn't. But if information about the worlds like that were to fall into the wrong hands, well it could get ugly. "It's nice to meet you. My name is Traverse Town. I am the personification of this world." he said. He looked to Scratch as he sighed. "A-And it's nice to see you too..."

Dax thought for a moment. "About these worlds...do any of them have anything valuable on them?" he questioned, scratching his chin. He leaned forward in his chair, anticipating the answer.

Traverse Town sighed as he looked to Dax. "Port Royal, it depends on the world. If the world is very wealthy I guess. Why do you ask?"

 

Twilight Town sighed as she was deep into her own little world in the depths of her mind. She was always the one to go to 'Lala Land' when the meeting was getting off topic. She would think about her towns wonders. About how the children in her would were on summer vacation. About how some of them would investigate her wonders. Her herself didn't even know about most of her town's wonders sometime's.

A sly smirk crept across Dax's face as he pondered just how much each world was worth. He looked at Traverse Town. "Pirates best be keeping their eyes open and learning as much information as we can, lest we'll be thrown into prison and lose what freedom is left in the worlds" he said, deliberately making his pirate accent heavier than usual as he said it.

Traverse Town went silent, slightly weirded out at what Port Royal had said. He slowly turned to look down the conference table, at every world that had shown up. "...Anyway... the heartless are going to be a big problem right now. Apparently every world I have heard from since Hollow Bastion fell into darkness has reported heartless... which is definitively not good. I am trying my best to keep watch on every star but it is very difficult... Who here has the most heartless in their world so far?" Traverse Town asked, trying to get this meeting going underway.

"The heartless be no bother at all to me. I just run em through with me cutlass, yarr!" Dax shouted triumphantly. It was at this time he noticed just how few were actually there. "Where are the other worlds?" he questioned, suddenly curious.

"Hey Scratch! Long time no see, how are you doing?!" Flash asked and were happy to see more lively people coming. Flash was still exhausted about so many worlds not coming. "Can darkness really proceed this fast, just is there someone behind this" Flash felt that he hsould had do something for this, but didn't make anything before anyone else asking same thing, but still asked for curiosity: "Hey Traverse, shouldn't we go see other worlds, since so many people is missing?"

Traverse nodded. "Well yes... after this meeting if everyone is okay with it. After all, if the darkness spreads this fast, that could be a really big problem." Traverse shifted in his seat slightly. For once people were actually listening to him rather than starting a big fight. Hopefully this can happen throughout the entire meeting. Which he really did not expect at all. "But the thing is, which world should we go to first?"

 

Twilight Town could not help but frown. People like her; the worlds, were falling into darkness. She looked to the sky from the window. The clouds were getting an even darker purple. She got slightly scared as she inched closer to Mysterious Tower.

Enchanted Dominion answered. "Well, I'd suggest starting with Castle of Dreams. She isn't terribly good at defending herself and now that I think of it, I haven't heard from her in a while."

 

"I concur," interjected Mysterious Tower, oblivious to Twilight Town's movements. "Comparably to the standard brightness of individual worlds, hers seems to have dimmed the most."

Traverse Town nodded. "I guess we should to there first... unless anyone else disagrees..." he mumbled slightly.

 

Twilight Town looked up. "I-I agree with Mysterious Tower..." she said, unsure on what to say. "A-After all... I am worried about Castle of Dreams..."

Mr. Scratch gave Flash a theatrical bow, then turned his attention to the discussion at hand. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of the Castle of Dreams.

"I had thought her lost already." He said in a low tone.

He shrugged.

"I really need to socialize more. Well then, I would have to cast my vote in favor of this plan, then."

Lana cleared her throat to get Scratch's attention. Scratch looked at he and smiled.

"I'm sorry, Lana. I will explain things as we go along."

"Thanks." she said. "I'm good for right now, I think."

Dax looked up from his bottle, which he had been staring at intensely trying to figure out if there was any alcohol left in it or not. "Aye, a grand plan that seems like" he agreed. He looked down at the bottle once more. "But i can't do it without getting more of my...er...medicine" he said, feeling very shifty indeed as he said it.

Mr Scratch grinned at Dax.

"Same old illness effecting you, my friend?" He asked in an amused tone.

Lana studied Dax. She wasn't really sure what world he was suppose to be, but where ever it was, it must be smelly.

"There's not a moment to lose, then!" shouted Dominion/August, rising to his feet and unsheathing his sword. He'd yet to unlock his keyblade, but was still a formidable adversary. "We'll have to hurry if we want to save her. Dominion/August opened a portal to the in-between and stepped through it, not waiting to see if anyone was following or waiting for the meeting to come to a close.

 

Mysterious/Joseph looked on at all of this with piqued interest. "Well that was rather abrupt. I suppose it is to be expected of a world who thinks himself a hero. He has attempted, in order to convince himself that he is, at base level, pure and good, to mask his drive to protect his home world and therefore himself under the title of heroism. Therefore to maintain his "hero" status, at least in his mind, he feels called into action by any disturbance caused by an outside force. Not to say that he isn't a hero of course, just explaining the psychology behind his actions," Joseph concluded.

Mr Scratch shrugged.

"Might as well get going." he said. "Coming, Lana?"

Lana gave Scratch a look. Scratch raised his hands in defense.

"Alright, alright. Dumb question."

Both World and Human stepped through the portal after August.

Dax looked at the bottle, then at the portal. Then back at the bottle, then the portal once more. "Gah, i'd best get some alcohol soon again or else heads will roll" he said gruffly as he half-stumbled through the portal.

Twilight Town unsurely got up as she frowned. She scarcely stepped through the portal. She did not have any weapons, but she did know a decent amount of magic she learned from Mysterious Tower.

 

Traverse Town sighed as he got up. He knew his friend had a somewhat large ego. He stepped in the portal after, summoning his keyblade.

Mysterious Tower followed closely after Twilight Town. As she had no weapons and he was more experienced, he felt it necessary that he defend her. He did have a keyblade, after all, and was quite adept at using it. In theory, at least.

Flash jumped on teleport after everybody else and thought: "Time for hero games huh?" Flash grinned when went through portal with everyone else, but felt still uneasy about agrabah not coming "You couldn't just fall on darkness like that" Flash summomed Lion Heart and rushed through portal.

Lana stood and marveled at the inbetween.

"Pretty, huh?" Scratch said, breaking into Lana's train of thoughts.

"Yeah." she managed while she readjusted her mental calm. "Would have figure more people would know about this."

Scratch shrugged.

"Some do." he said. "Though they're the special ones."

Lana could tell from the twinkle in the Scratch's eye, he was buttering her up. She'd have to talk to him about that later, but for now, accepted the compliment with a nod.

The Personification of Halloween Town looked around at his fellow worlds.

"You know, I can't remember the last time we've done this." he noted. "We really need to get together more often."

"Agreed," replied August/Dominion. "Though preferably under a less strenuous situation. Ah, here we are," he finished, reaching a glowing orb, representing the entrance to Castle of Dreams, the world. He then turned towards the group with a serious look on his face. "Now, this next area will be fraught with danger, so I ask that any not willing to put their lives on the line to save one of our comrades and the souls of this world turn back now. I understand if you're frightened, but each of us will do everything in our power to protect all of you. Again, to those with less fighting experience, it's now or never to turn back." He then waited for their replies.

 

"Master Yen Sid has been teaching me the art of the selfless and what it means to be brave," began Mysterious Tower/Joseph, "and as I have the power to influence the outcome of this situation, I will do what I can."
