NO New Console Announcement

As Sony already stated in this years CES the PS4 will NOT be announced on this years E3 event.

Today Micro$ofts Senior Marketing Director Jose Pinero also confirmed

that there will be no announcement of the new XBox console on this years E3.

He also stated that the normal console-lifespan of 6-7 years does not apply on the 360

because the Kinect and the Dashboard update already made it a "new console"

(I lost my shit at that statement xDDD Kinect = new console bwahahah it's the worst piece of shit since Nintendo's Power Glove)

There will however be other announcements from Micro$oft at the E3 and during the year but Pinero refused to give more details about it.

So no new console announcements this year folks. You have at least 1 more year to save your munny for them.

I just got a 3ds, I'm good for another few years

And kinect? No. Just no. All I mostly see for it are dancing and kid's games. Adding one accessory does not make it a new console, no matter how many games you release for it.

I have toi agree. the Kinect is much worst than Nintendo's Power Glove and Vitual Boy . I really think that Microsoft should upgrade to a new gaming system now since the Xbox 360 is slowly dying (mostly because of the Kinect).

 

The only ereason I would probably buy Kinect is for Sonic Free Riders. that's the only good game on the Kinect so far. Other than that, Kinect is trash.

just wanna say that microsoft said that there new console (let's call it Xbox 720) will be relesed at end of 2013 or 2014, and i have actulle read somewhere that sony won't relese there console untill 2015

Even though most gamers agree that kinect is lame, it's still the best selling add on to a system in history, annoying as that is. I think that Xbox might want to upgrade but PlayStation? I mean, come on. What do you want the PlayStation 4 to do that the PlayStation 3 can't?

I doubt that the PlayStation 4 will have that feature, though I agree it would be awesome. Heck, the PlayStation 4 may not even support PlayStation 3 games. Backwards compatibility is hard to pull off, especially for so many generations.
