KHRecoded Is this the worst KH?

Me post time.

 

In the KH series, it's been the typical hack-slash magic spam game. And today, it still is. But Recoded, while it's not the best in the series, it's one of the most unique game of the series. Why? Because this game offers a variety ways of playing the game. Each world allows you to play the game different. RPG, Shooter, Side-Scroll....Allyish? The game presents itself many ways to enjoy it, something that you don't always see in the series. I also have to mention the new game system for Recoded. That's probably its best feature. I had so much fun changing the options of the game. Because of this system, I'm allow to make the game easier or harder for me, changing the way of how I get experience at a cost, make the enemies either weaker or stronger. Recoded allows you to customize basically the whole game experience. That's why I can hardly say this isn't the worst. Is anyone seeing it in my perspective or are people saying, "ITS A DS GAME, IT BE BAD AND GRAPHICS IS DA WORST EVAR".

 

358/2 Days...oh boy. Let me tell you my experience with this game. Usually for me, I can play hours upon hours of playing KH because well I enjoy it so much. 358/2 Days, however, I can't even stand an hour or two playing this game without being bored out of my skull. Seriously, it's the same repetitive shit. Here's the layout of the game: Go to a world, explore, kill Heartless, kill Heartless, DRAMATIC STORY PLOT DEVICE, kill heartless, and then finally a boss. Don't even get me started on the challenges, because that was just stupid. Same mission, but I gotta collect white orbs in a limited time and like never finding the last one or two? Hell no. Sure, it's the point of the game, but that's boring. The bosses were beyond annoying and overall frustrating. Getting 100% on everything is no even worth it, as there is no point, with the only good thing coming out of it was the Secret Reports, and that was still not enough. Storyline made me yawn too much. Great, Roxas falls asleep, I don't care. Xion falls asleep next? HURR HURR, GOOD ONE NOMURA, U DID THE SAME THING AGAIN. And to top off everything, playing by myself in Mission Made had to be the worse. It's the Single Player, except you get to play with the Organization, plus characters like Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Mickey, whatever. That part is cool. But sitting there, doing what I just did in the Single Player WITHOUT ANYONE ElSE was garbage. Why bother putting in Mission Mode if like none of my god damn friends have the game, and there is no actual Wi-Fi? I mean, Birth by Sleep may of been not online, but I could be able to change that with ADHOC. That's why 358/2 Days is not really a great game as it should be, but rather just fanservice. And that fanservice is disappointing

 

That's why some of you guy are crazy. Recoded is not the least bit worst game there. 358/2 Days takes the cake here (probably ate it too). Although, if we go to technical, V Cast (or even if you want to push it, the orignal Coded), is the worst. Lulz to you guys for pointing it out.

I for one hate the card system. The game itself is good, the card system is hardly great. Sue me. Honestly, if you're going to call someone out like that, make sure you post on Microsoft Word before coming here and trying to start up a shitstorm, because bad grammar is bad. For your record, it's not a fact that everyone loves it. It's a assumption of yours because you think you're right, but it's just YOUR OPINION. And finally, it's almost the same as KH. You're taking KH1, adding a card system to it, changing the world layouts, different bosses, bam, it's KH1 with changes. Just look at it 5 minutes and you'll see how similar they are.

All I have to say is... didn't you read my other post? I said a little under 50% hated the card system! Or a little over 50 percent liked it but prefered the other battle system! ANYWAYS,what you have said is true! IT IS KH 1 but changing the layout of the worlds of how you get around,and a different gameplay mechanic! BUT,for me,that makes it an ENTIRELY new game! Just the card syste, did that for me! But anyways,that IS just my opinion that the card system and how you get around worlds make it an entirely new game! I mean its still KH but,well I was going to say,"you know what I mean" but you don't share the same opinion lol But anyways I completely understand how someone wouldn't like the card system! In it-self it was designed well and it WORKED,but some people don't like a touch of strategy! Come to think of it,they should have done the card system later when mroe KH games have had come out! I mean it was only the second KH game to come out... that way maybe people would have been more tired of the hack & slashing,not that I AM! I guess it just depends if you like strategy or you don't like to think HOW you play,which I don't,though for me it doesn't HURT to PLAN & THINK how you play once and while!

I hated RE:Coded. Reasons why:

• It was a filler. The only thing we got out of it is that Sora's got to save everyone (KINDA FIGURED THAT OUT AFTER BBS) and Mickey's Letter
• Graphics were so-so.
• Recycling worlds. NOT A SINGLE NEW DISNEY-RELATING WORLD. DXXXX
• Lack of original characters. We see Kairi only ONCE during this game.
• Battle system. This game is a BBS wannabe.
• Olympus Coliseum. 'Nuff said.
• Level-up system.
• Mostly solo. SQUARE ENIX, BRING BACK THE PARTY SYSTEM!
• Reuse of Intro Music. Yes, I understand that since Utada quit, its been difficult, but Square had better get their stuff together about the music. (I do love it, though, its just over-used)
• Overall, just KH1 on DS minus a few worlds.

That's why I hate this game. Worst KH game ever (I actually like COM and RE:COM).

I dunno what you think, but 60 hours is a damn good amount of gameplay content if you're trying to 100% it, especially a DS game.

But nope, I don't think this is the worst Kingdom Hearts, I enjoyed it alot. It felt like the original Kingdom Hearts mixed up a bit with Birth By Sleeps battle system and minigames, although it was missing a few things. I liked it more than Days, even though I did enjoy Days alot.

 

Plot wise it definately was, but I think that was partly due to the episodic nature of the original coded, and them trying to leave the plot on a cliffhanger each episode and timing the ending a little after Birth By Sleep to tie in with it.

There is no "worst game" in KH in my opinion yes there is "annoying" games in KH like Chain of Memories but I absolutely love all KH games, probably in my opinion there is no worst game

I recently just beat the game (Re:coded) and at first, like the first two worlds, I was a bit disappointed. Shortly as the story progressed I got more into it. I wouldn't say this is the worst KH game; they're all very, very well made. I enjoyed everything about the game. The story, the battles, the bosses, even the annoying bug level thing. It is definetly at the bottom of the list for KH games, yet it does not earn the "worst" title.
