KH3D Thoughts On Axel/lea...

I'm quite excited to see axel/lea in KH 3D trailer..It literally brought tears to my eyes to see him enter and say "my name is Lea..Got it memorized?..i feel that his "death " in KH2 was planned so that he can come back with a heart and on the side of light . Just like the secret ending in Coded informing us that if a heartless and the nobody were killed the real somebody reforms and thats how MX can return..So if MX can, im sure Axel and others could....Some on the boards think its Lea from the past but im fairly certain this is post KH2 since Ansems study was like it was left off in KH2..Plus since Ienzo and aeleus(sp?) were seen as well but in their pre-nobody clothing(Lea Still cloaked?),, it seeems to definitely pointing to the present since they would be still wearing cloaks too since they joined BEFORE Axel,,What are your thoughts on this ? Axel is my favorite so I'm so happy to see him back,, hopefully for good ..

axel was meant to be aminor character, but because he was so popular they kept in kh2 longer and eventually expanded his role.

 

not thats out of the way, I LOVE AXEL!!!!!!!!!! i definitely feel like he is back for the good side

yeah, they pretty much set it up so Organization XIII could return again. I'm really on the fence about past or present; on the one hand, "Lea" was at the Disney Castle blocking Mickey from an attack from Maleficent (Because Mickey apparently fails), which doesn't seem like that should have happened in the past. Then again, Maleficent was shown before talking about the Princesses of heart, which I thought would be old news and in the past, but she does make a reference to Xehanort, who Mickey has been acting like he doesn't know until recently. Yen Sid appeared to know that Ansem and Xemnas were both incarcations of Master Xehanort, however. So...I guess we'll have to see. It also seems strange that Maleficent went to Mickey and told her the plan; it seemed more implied that Mickey and Yen SId noticed something weird, and so went to investigate. So...yeah, I don't feel like speculating now lol. For all we know, it's not even really Lea.

I love that they brought him back and i do hope he becomes a major character in all future sequels..I know they expanded his role to keep him around but since he was popular in Days and such they knew by killing him off to only bring him back whole again would REALLY help deepen and flesh out his character.Thats just my opinion but i think it makes a lot of sense

Even by the end of KH2, Maleficent was still trying,,I dont think she ever really gave up..And im pretty sure axel wouldnt have rescued or even really knew Mickey and Comp. in the past .Plus i really think hes back as a somebody so they can keep his extremely popular character around..This is purely my opinion of course..

He's cool, so I'm good with him being back as Lea....even though I know fans will continue to call him Axel. e.o It's LEA now damnit. Hnggsrferref @_@ And I....am really....really tired of his catchphrase, it feels severly overused to death. I prefered the "Commit it to memory" line he used way back in CoM. But that's just me. <x''D

And Isa....I want him back....not Saix.....Isa....he was so awesome. ;w; <33

I really don't care about him honestly . He's a cool character, but I feel as if he's appearing in so many games now just as fan service... because Axel is a very popular character for some reason.

Im sure part of it is his popularity, but he has ties to major players too.The more they developed his character they more he was loved.. In KH 2 FM, Axel shed a tear when they said goodbye on the clocktower..We know Roxas has a heart due to Ven , so its easy to see why he has emotions..But Axel didnt have a heart yet still developed feelings and emotions , something Saix hated and didnt understand or like ..Plus his self sacrifice to save Sora bc it meant saving Roxas made him even more likeable

Yeah, I mostly agree. And I don't think it's strange that Maleficent is back at disney castle at all, just that she went on about the princesses of heart. We'll be seeing Maleficent long after Xehanort is gotten rid of...lol, the TRUE antagonist of Kingdom Hearts.

Commit it to memory sounds a little darker for some reason, I'd like that. He was also darker back at Chain of Memories...But it's too late to change it now, come on!

And I want to see Isa too. kid Isa looked awesome, and I always liked Saix. He was only so cold because he desperately wanted the heart he didn't have! I think he'd make a cool protagonist.
