KeybladeMasterBalo 504 Posted January 3, 2012 Hello everyone. I wanted to comment about "BBS: Volume 2". Everybody sayas it might be a game, others said it's just gonna be a secret ending, etc. Personally I think it's gonna be a game BUT here's what I thought recently: - What if Nomura it's going to make a "Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Mix +"? I mean when KH2 arrived he made KH2FM+ which had KHRe:CoM with it. So what if it's the same when KH3 arrives?? Do you think we will get BBSV2 with KH3? Do you think it will come before KH3? Or do you simply believe BBSV2 it's going to be something else? Comment please!! Thanks.
TheBucket2 114 Posted January 3, 2012 Here's what I think about BbS -V2- ... Nomura said awhile ago that he was interested, and as far as we know planning on, making a spin-off series of KH. Same universe, but a line of games that does not focus on Sora as the main focus (in one way or another.) I think that's what BbS is going to be. Taking place after KH3, "Birth by Sleep" may be a new storyline focusing on Terra, Aqua, and Ventus's new journeys on their own. Maybe reestablishing a Keyblade order, or maybe all taking on Apprentices of their own (not Sora or Riku, because quite obviously after KH3D they'll already be Masters.) It makes sense. Same universe, characters we're already familiar with (another aspect of the spin-off Nomura had mentioned), and it makes sense. TAV have become very popular and important characters in the series after only technically starring in one game. I think it'd be a waste just to "get rid of them" after KH3. So in my opinion, I think BbS might start to become it's own sub-series within the KH universe. 2 Nikolasvanitas and lizzie1238 reacted to this

I like that idea...i didnt really think much of bbsv2...let alone for it to be a series after kh3...now you got me thinking about

Mog 97 Posted January 3, 2012 Ah, another BBSv2 thread. What I think is that this game is a stand alone title, for the PS Vita. Hardcore fans are interested in discovering the mysteries of the series, and when I think about it, I want this game more than I want 3D. I do not think Nomura would bundle this game with KH3. Because they both have completely different focuses... BBSv2 would be more of a behind the scenes type of game, where as KH3 would be a serious development in the plot. I think fans would get confused, wouldn't understand the relation. Besides, Re:Com was a remake, not a brand new game. It made sense for Nomura to bundle the two, because they could be played side by side chronologically, whereas with BBSv2 and KH3, they would both be looking at completely different timelines and plots. Nomura said there was 2 games left before KH3. One being 3D, and the other is obviously BBSv2. It would not make sense to release this 'side' game after the concluding tite of the Xehanort saga. BBSv2 is a game, there's no doubt about it, and you are a moron if you argue that it isn't. This is just my opinion.

When depends too, because if that was before BbS was even out, well.....of course he could ahve also meant BbS FM. I just don't get the feeling that there's going to be ANOTHER KH game between 3D and 3. Nomura's been constantly saying that the events in 3D lead directly into 3; and with this year being the official 10th anniversary...I just don't get the feeling that there's going to be a game between 3D and 3. I think once Nomura isn't busy doing 3D and Versus XIII anymore, he'll focus on 3 and we'll have it in at least Japan by around Q4 2013 in Japan. 1 lizzie1238 reacted to this

It's in the news section on the homepage that's been mentioned from last year. BBS FM isn't a mystery(can't even be considered a mystery). He wanted to reveal the mystery game at E3 2010, but it wasn't ready. Also, Nomura said that he wanted to tell 4 stories before KH3: 1. Roxas's time in the Organization(358/2 days). 2. Xehanort's past(BBS). 3. Riku's absence. 4. Mickey's absence. And as the BBS FM secret ending has shown......the locations where we haven't seen Riku and Mickey so far. You should know Nomura by now, he's been saying KH3D leads into KH3, meaning story-wise, but release-wise he can release another game. Another thing that Nomura wanted to discuss before or during KH3 was the realm of darkness and Dark Margin(hinted in BBS FM), and also the Chamber of Repose and Chamber of Awakening. 1 Mog reacted to this

I agree with you that it would be WAY BETTER if it's released alone i was just pointing out a possibility, there's no need to call someone a "moron" for sharing an idea... Kh games were only bundled once and with good reason. I wasn't calling you a moron for thinking it could be bundled, I was saying that one would be a moron to think that BBSv2 is not a game. earth_angel 73 Posted January 6, 2012 It has to be a game. I'm more excited about the possibility of BBSv2 than 3D to be honest... Mostly because I don't get what 3D is supposed to add to the story, leading into KH3. Anyway, considering Nomura said there'd be 2 more games, one of which is 3D, I'm on the side of people thinking it's going to get a release before KH3. Slicer9875 27 Posted January 21, 2012 I think we'll finally be getting a trailer for it. Nomura mentioned an "unnamed title" in the interview and considering there has been no coverage of the game so far, I think it is probably birth by sleep volume 2. Sounds awesome.
