Shadow shook his head. "Ai, you're so much more than that, you are practically a new somebody. You have all these emotions that barely any nobodies have or will ever have. Also you have the keyblade. You will help bring balance to the worlds. All I am is a shadow I am good for nothing so if I die it doesn't mean anything but if I die saving you then I have purpose"Shadow said

"am....i really.........i still have no heart........you do.....so you have a reason....once we get out of here.....you can go find someone to be with.....i...ill just be alone...."

Ahe stood up and rubs her eyes not wanting more water to fall from them.

"i was ment to be alone............."

She stared at the ground.

Shadow stood up slowly and grunted "Maybe I want to be with you" Shadow said out of shock. He couldn't believe he just said that. He blushed then turned around and walked a little distance away. He didn't not plan on saying that, it just came out without hesitation. He didn't even have the thought it just came out naturally

Ai's eyes opend wid as she blushed.

"......"

She didnt know what to say. Her eyes wonderd around a little till then glansed back at him.

"d-d-did...h-he just say that.....!?"

She thought to herself.

Shadow turned back around when he didn't hear anything. He then saw she was blushing and looking at him. He then walked towards her and grabbed her hands. "I'm sorry if this is weird to you but just getting to know you this half a day has made me want to know you more. You interest me and I don't know what it is but I just can't get over the fact that you are so pretty." Shadow said looking into her eyes

She looked up at him.

Her eyes met up with his as her cheeks became a little more pink.

"y-y-you.....r-realy....want to....be with me......?"

Her hands tightend a little on his.

Shadow looked at her and gave her a shy grin. "Yeah, yes I do" He said hoping she wouldn't run off. He'd had a bunch of heart break over both of his existences but no love had ever felt like the crush he was growing for Ai. "Ai, I know we just met but do you want to take a journey with me once we get all the way through this?" Shadow said

Ai didnt run she just stood there looking up at him.

"a..... journey?"

She tilted her head a little.

"what....kind of........journey ...?"

She saked softly.

"A journey where we roam all the worlds, and do whatever the hell we want. I don't know why but I just want to be with you, I can't imagine spending time without you. I know this sounds crazy but its just how I feel." Shadow said feeling a little crazy

She was suprised at this.

"y-yea.....i would...like that...."

She said softly her eyes wondring a rounf a litte.

Shadow smiles and was happy. Shadow looked outside and looked that it was sundown, just a couple more hours and they'd be free. Shadow then looked outside and there were millions of heartless. "Ai I know I told you not to but use your keyblade its all we have right now. Just don't hit me. We need to fight our way through. If you get into any trouble just call for me and i'll be there for you." Shadow said as he kissed Ai's hands. He looked into her eyes then went completely black. His aura flowed around him and he made his hands sharp claws. "See you on the other side" Shadow said jumping into the waves of heartless.

Ai looked up at him.

"please be carful....Shadow...."

She said befor he took off running into the pool of hertless'.

Ai made her keyblade apper and ran at them.

"DIE!"

Shadow stuck his claws into the body of a neoshadow and ripped it apart. Shadow then jumped up and sliced down more heartless at once. He just kept rushing thorugh the crowd slicing and killing. He looked aorund and the numbers didn't seem to get much smaller then he saw Ai join in the fight. He froze making sure she'd be okay. When he was stabbed with a shadow blade. Shadow turned one set of claws into a gun and shot multiple enemies down with it.

Ai slashed a few at a time and doges most of the attacks. Ai turned and then got claed in the face.

"ow!"

She held her hand over the cut and then slised through it trying to make her way thougth the mess trying to find Shadow.

Shadow hear her say ow and had to find her. He turned his hands into giant bulldozer scrapers with chopping blades and shredded through the other heartless trying to find her. "AI!" Shadow screamed out. He then saw blood on the ground and it made his eyes turn pure yellow as his hands turned to blade and he swung them around slaughtering the multitude of heartless.

She hurd him and looked around trying to see him. She attacked some more heartlesses and then took her hand from her cheek and looked at it coverd in blood.

"crap..."

She said to herself and attacked more looking for him.

"SHADOWN!"

Shadow searched hours through the crowds of heartless but it seemed endless. Then a light bursted out over the dark sea shining through out one piece of mass infront of it. The heartless in that area were burnt to a crisp and Ai was the only thing left in that area. He ran to her and was bounced back due to the light. "I can't get through. The door to light isn't made for heartless." Shadow said thinking he had to go with her he couldn't leave her alone. He didn't know where that light led so he had to go even if it were the death of him.

 

Shadow started back and ran through the light and grabbed Ai bridal style and walked her up to the door. The light burned the darkness off his skin. He got closer and closer and it made his skin light on fire. His shirt burnt off as he got inches from the door. His chest lit up and started melting away the skin. The skin was melted perfectly around his heart showing his heart surrounded by a bloody mess of his blood, bones, and burnt skin.

 

Shadow then got right at the door and screamed out in pain as he slowly stepped through the door leaving that world behind. He opened his eyes through the blinding light and found himself holding her on a beach as he placed her down and collapsed on the beach side. he looked up at the sun and his eyes shut
