We know that since "Ansem" and Xemnas are gone Xehanort is back and Yen Sid said that Master Xehanort would return (now shown as the young Master Xehanort in the Jump Festa trailer for DDD). So how is Terra gonna be saved? And one more thing does the young Master Xehanort have anything to do with Vanitas showing up at the end of the trailer? P.S. Maybe KH3D is where they find out where everyone (Aqua, Ventus, Terra) exactly is? I mean, Sora doesn't know about the whole Terranort deal (not too sure who else does?). JTD95 1,107 Posted December 27, 2011 When Ansem and Xemnas was destroyed, Master Xehanort returned in the form of Apprentice Xehanort. Xehanort and Terra is still one person. I know in the recent trailer we saw a young Master Xehanort but he has to be some other form of Xehanort; not the original. Tim Small 2 Posted December 27, 2011 What if the reason why Vanitas is back is because Xehanort is trying to harbor hearts in the dream world (part of his many roads he would take) just like Sora, except Xehanort is in a sense stealing the hearts of others to give him more power? Sora2 84 Posted December 27, 2011 ok I think ansem and xemnas rejoined to create terra-nort (tera and xemnas joined) and because Sora is in dream world them two can exist because its things that have gone to sleep. Them two have gone two sleep because sora beat them. Also because this is kingdom hearts and how characters do not really die just re-appear in another form. As for vanitas I got two crazy ideas. 1. He was a lingering spirit like the secret boss. 2. because ventus went in sora vanitas lived in soras heart and when ventus joined with sora then when he stabbed himself to free kairi he released vanitas like he released roxas:P. Well they could just use that portal that opened up in the Hall of the Cornerstone (hopefully it's still there.) Besides the keyblade Graveyard's gotta come back if Terra's gonna be saved. Anthony17 40 Posted December 27, 2011 Remember no dies on this game they go to a dream world and can return, like when yen sid said that these worlds are in a sleep and sora and riku have to find a keyhole to awaken them. so that means that ppl can wake up too, and return. so really terra, vanitas, ansem, xemnas, and maybe MX is asleep and they may wake and return to the real world. Then again, Terra may not be saved until the end of KH3, if it's like most numbered games and from the perspective of Sora. Also, here's some brain fodder: In an interview I found recently (I'll try to find it later), the entire reason Riku was on the other side of the Door to Darkness was because that while Ansme SoD was possessing him, Riku's heart was in the realm of darkness (like a heartless), so when Ansem was destroyed, Riku was in the Realm of Darkness (also, he stayed there because only beings of darkness could travel out of the DtD. ALso in that interview). So, you gotta think: Where could Terra's heart have gone? Many think that it's inside Riku because Ansem possessed him, but that's assuming Xehanort didn't ditch Terra and Eraqus a long time ago. We'll just have to see. But then again, it could be more complexed than that. I don't doubt that there are more Xehanort's than the ones we currently know about. Since there's Terranort, Ansem SoD, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and Master Xehanort, MX could have been born in another body from the effects of Ansem and Xemnas being defeated, if not turned into Terranort again.
