Anthony17 40 Posted December 26, 2011 why they don't have any final mixs for america, we want to play all the remaded ways in the game. what yall think we ain't good enough for it? cuz I can kill it real good. Im just why we can't get any.
Uncle Dolan 963 Posted December 26, 2011 Because Nomura wants them only in Japan, and it's not that hard to play them anyway. PS3s are region-free Also, he knows they won't sell well here. 1 SoraKH reacted to this
Rob 5,571 Posted December 26, 2011 Since America got extras that Japan didn't, Square released the Final Mixes so japan has more extras than America. We can hope for a HD collection because I doubt only Japan gets the Final Mixes while America just gets the regular games.
Anthony17 40 Posted December 26, 2011 Im just want to do all the things they have in it, but if it goes like that then.... ok
Uncle Dolan 963 Posted December 26, 2011 We can hope for a HD collection No need to hope, it's been confirmed for some time now.
Rob 5,571 Posted December 26, 2011 No need to hope, it's been confirmed for some time now. Last I checked, Square was checking the HD technicalities on the previous KH games, and said they'd like to make it, but never once confirmed anything, hence me saying hope. Ps3 games are region free yes but the actual Final Mix games themselves are region locked for japanese ps2' and ps3's

Sora96 17,256 Posted December 26, 2011 Very obvious reasons why they were not released in English speaking countries. And I'm sick of writing about it. Just read my old guide, http://kh13.com/forum/topic/10942-guide-to-final-mixes-and-re-chain-of-memories/.
Spectrum of Life 188 Posted December 26, 2011 I faintly remember one of the reasons being that Sony Requires a certain amount of extra content for them to be published in America. I'm guessing that the EU branch wasn't going to bother unless it got released in more than one territory.

Im just why we can't get any. I'll try to explain you, my friend The Final Mixes are released in Japan after the English versions are released. Normally, bugs are fixed, new content is added, and so the English version ends up usually getting more than the jap one. So, because of that, Nomura releases the Final Mix only to Japan, where he adds everything that has been added to the English ones, and also a bit more. I myself have all the Final Mixes and have played them all. They're really nice! If you want to play them, you could do what the people above said! Hope you've understood everything 2 Uncle Dolan and Anthony17 reacted to this
Slicer9875 27 Posted December 28, 2011 So in other words something like this. Basic version, fastest release date-Japan. Improved Version-medium release date- everywhere else. New content has probably been added. Final Version-Japan again Additional new content has been added. What I don't like is why don't they just release the final mix version first in English and then Japanese. It's not like those of us in the US don't suffer from the wait. Japan always gets it first so I consider it compensation that we get a better copy. Then Japan gets an even better copy-not really that fair. I suppose they don't have a choice though because otherwise it probably wouldn't sell. I don't know much about games but couldn't they basically create an update of some sort instead? It's rare that any major changes are made. The worlds are usually the same, more or less. Maybe a few extra areas are added, some chests added, a few secret bosses slipped in with some additional items and then a new trailer. I think that maybe the update could cost more money if it was possible as an expansion pack of sorts. That way it would be better all around, right? The Japanese could update their game if they wanted and the updated game (roughly a final mix) could be sold abroad starting off that way or it could also work the same way with an update. Either way, people would at least have the option of getting a final mix version for themselves or just having the basic version for lower cost. PrinceWatermelon 59 Posted December 28, 2011 I'm sure that with the PS3 and newer release habits(America has been getting things before Japan for some/most games), Final Mixes will stop and the game will be patched. For the extra Final Mix content, DLC!
