animemylove 439 Posted December 19, 2011 After watching the new trailer for like the 5th time today i noticed a lot of shots of riku and sora fighting xehanort. my guess is he's resurrected at the end of the game and for some reason had a horrible feeling when i looked at riku. does anyone think xehanort might defeat riku and turn him into a heartless/nobody, setting the mood for kh3? DarkmoonTenshi 22 Posted December 19, 2011 It is very interesting. It's not likely, but then again, it would be shocking.
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted December 19, 2011 No, I don't. The reason being that the scene in the trailer which shows Sora, Riku and King Mickey all gathering in the Keyblade Graveyard to fight Master Xehanort has pretty much assured me that Riku will not be turned to the dark side again. And Riku saw Ansem, seeker of darkness, once and then saw Young Xehanort and there was no implication of malevolence in that one. So I don't believe that will be the 'shocking ending' we've been promised, I'm now beginning to ponder if it has something to do with Lea or the Organization though. Gexln 18 Posted December 19, 2011 ....you've just given me new hope for this series. A Nobody of Riku as the main villain would be..legendary. True, Sora would be able to defeat him but..well i don't think Sora would have it in him to kill Riku. That'd be interesting, definately.
TheApprenticeofKingMickey 3,689 Posted December 19, 2011 We're already guessing the ending? D: I feel a very ominous sense of foreboding when I look at Sora. I don't want to believe the "Sora turning evil" theories but I can't shake the feeling something serious will happen to Sora one way or another in KH3D. StarCharm 54 Posted December 19, 2011 Nomura has a twisted mind, thus his imagination and way of thinking is something beyond mine. Everything that has happened so far in the KH plot is something I could've never thought of or imagined. So I believe this shocking ending is something I will never ever think of, or something that will never occur to me. Making theories is only making me want to see it more x'D so I'll just keep waiting, and die of shock once I finally see it.

mfampait 49 Posted December 19, 2011 we did see another riku in the trailer rixuk maybe?
animemylove 439 Posted December 20, 2011 it'd definitely put a new twist to the next arc. a nobody fighting to find a meaning without having to be destroyed, it'd be like the exact opposite of riku hunting down xion and roxas to bring back sora. -*Ventus*- 1 Posted December 20, 2011 I think it'll have something to do with the scene of Vanitas
Eterna 274 Posted December 20, 2011 Sora is Aqua's and Xehanorts love child.
Uncle Dolan 963 Posted December 20, 2011 We should leave it as: "We'll find out in March." But, that would ruin this thread.
Rob 5,571 Posted December 20, 2011 Sora is Aqua's and Xehanorts love child. But Sora ends up with Aqua.

Kinode 3,056 Posted December 20, 2011 So you guys forgot of MF? There are WAY toomany hooded guys in this trailer. I bet there will be another hooded person which we' ll be led to believe isyoung Xehanort or Riku but is someone else.
fakt13 2 Posted December 20, 2011 True, but I realized that Ventus might wake up do to this since he's trapped in a sleep he can't wake up from. Maybe this is supposed to be part of saving him.
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted December 20, 2011 True, but I realized that Ventus might wake up do to this since he's trapped in a sleep he can't wake up from. Maybe this is supposed to be part of saving him. That's probably what Yen Sid designed this particular test to do. He wanted to test Sora and Riku but also wanted them to learn of Ventus, Terra and Aqua's existence. He probably wanted to bring up memories that are hidden deep in sleep.
