The World That Never Was

Recommended Posts

Xigbar laughed at Roxas's remark.

"We'd only be dead once she was done torturing us." he said in a jovial tone.

Xigbar walked forward and stared at the nobodies Vexen had summoned. He sniffed once then blinked away from everyone's sight. He reappeared hanging upside down above the targets.

"Thunder!" he said in an overly dramatic voice and a snap of his fingers, blasting the target nobodies with the lightning spell.

Demyx leaned against the wall watching. He didn't really like the casting magic stuff, his water was always enough. Demyx looked up at Xigbar hanging from the ceiling. He imagined xigbar falling and landing on his head. Demyx couldn't help but laugh a little his hand immediatly went to his mouth. Oops. He thought.

"So Vexen who's next?" Zexion ask where you could see just the slightest smile. It was only to be expected with Zexion being one of the best with magic attacks in all forms and types.

Zexion nodded as he got in the center of all of the Dusk's before opening his book not having to say Thunder as electricity came down zapping all of the Dusks leaving one behind that twitched obviously injured. "One left well I still did pretty good.............." He mumbled as he walked back to the others snapping his book closed while he walked.

Xigbar looked over at Demyx when he laughed. He gave the younger nobody a wink with his only eye. Water boy was sooo easy to read.

Xigbar disappeared, popping up beside Zexion, putting an arm around the Cloaked Schemers shoulder.

"Not bad." he said, nodded thoughtfully. "Come along way from the short kid with rolled up sleeves."

Zexion knew Xigbar talking about when he was Ienzo as he removed Xigbar's arm off his shoulder. "Yet you can't seem to learn one thing Braig." He knew calling Xigbar Braig wouldn't do much but as long as this went on he would do it and maybe something would come out of it.

Xigbar shrugged.

"Me?" he said with a grin forming on his face. "Need to learn? As if! I wouldn't be needing spells to take care of targets."

He gave Zexion an amused look.

"You growing nostalgic on us, Zexion? Missing being the little apprentice?"

He rolled his eyes amused that Xigbar didn't get what he meant. "Not in the slightest and it's amusing that you don't even know what i'm talking about Xigbar. You used to say I was the one that didn't know much. I believe that role is switched seeing that you can't figure it out." In truth he did miss being Ienzo but the reason was clear just like the rest of them, he had a heart then.

Xigbar laughed.

"As if, kiddo." he said. "As if."

He glanced around at the other members assembled there.

"We should really liven up this little training exercises. Everyone here looks bored near to death."

Zexion shook his head not wanting to be a part of it. "I learned something important while I was Ienzo and that was never go along with anything that involved liven up ANYTHING no matter what you tried to do to convince me to help." The past experience hit him like a brick as he walked away from Xigbar. He didn't care about the numbers right now if Xigbar asked him that question again he would stop Xigbar for the next week.

Demyx looked at Xigbar and Zexion suddenly interested in their conversation. Maybe this training won't be so boring. He thought watching them. Zexion didn't seem to want to back down to his superior, there was no way that would end well for him.

Xigbar laughed again.

"No need to get your book wrinkled." he said, raising his hands in a friendly gesture. "Just saying."

Xigbar made a mental note to keep an eye on Zexion. He had been a little testy there. Might be fun to see what the Schemer had up his sleeve.

Xigbar glanced at the people watching his and Zexion's exchange.

"Nope. No fight. Sorry, guys."

Something seemed to be nagging at his head for a while about Xigbar but Zexion would get to it later. He decided to lean on a near by wall as he opened his Lexicon and read while he wait for this to finish as his thoughts slurred about things he hadn't thought about in a long time before it settled on this. "What would be like if Xehanort hadn't appeared?" He thought with a form of wonder seeing as he was the casue of this.

Zexion nodded before vanishing through a Dark Corridor not wanting to be near Xigbar anymore. Just before he vanished all the way he gave Xigbar a glare but he didn't realize he was doing it as he appeared in his room while he grabbed his journal eyeing the book right next to it. "Why can't I seem to get rid of you? All you are a this point is old memories that won't happen ever again." The book had pictures of Ienzo while he was a apprentice. He sighed before covering up as he began writing.

Demyx lingers for a while then decides to just walk. He hums as he walked through the castle.

" I don't want another mission tomorrow." Demyx complains to himself rubbing his eyes as he walks.
