Razorwind Keyblade 304 Posted December 17, 2011 This series will never run out of New Worlds. Do you know why? An example of why would be Prankster's Paradise, The Three Musketeers, and Tron Legacy. Technically speaking, all of these worlds have already been in Kingdom Hearts. All he's doing is putting different movies and parts of the world and calling it 'new'. And Nomura is a liar because he said he wouldn't put any Sequels or Animated Series in Kingdom Hearts but he's done it twice already (Sparky and The Return of Jafar). Now it seems like he's doing this with KH3D but it's likely for plot related reasons. To get to the point, if Nomura keeps on doing this then I'm sure the series will never run out of "new" worlds. deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted December 17, 2011 Well, definately not. Notice how in the very first kingdom hearts game, few of the worlds actually followed the original plotlines of the movies--they saved many of them for KH2, and even then we didn't get all of the worlds for the princesses of heart until BBS. They are definately being cautious about how many worlds they reveal and in how many different ways. Another thing to add-seeing what was done with Monstro and Trickster's Paradise, we can probably expect a Lilo and stitch world sometime in the future in the same way. So long as dumb sequals are not used, I am not too mad. Seeing as Agrabah in KH2 didn't introduce any of the new characters or anything from Return of Jafar, I think it sort of counts as not really using the sequal, but I don't remember him ever vowing never to use a sequal. And if he did, he probably used evasive language as he always does, using worlds like "probably" and "perhaps." Nothing is ever concrete.

We haven't had prankster's paradise; we had monstro. Although both worlds are based on the same movie, they are two different worlds and will have two different plotlines; the entire plotline of pinocchio has yet to really be explored, Monstro was only half of it. You can probably count on this happening in the future. And I also am not sure about Nomura ever saying that they wouldn't use an animated series, but you know, as the plotline develops, things change. Using Sparky wouldn't really be part of any animated series because that was actually part of a self-standing movie, and I doubt it would go for using too many other episodes, but even if it does, it will be done in a clever Kingdom Hearts style. Whatever they eventually decide to put in will not be some cheap world to just fill space but will actually have a meaning to it and a good spot in the plotline. deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted December 17, 2011 Basically what I was trying to say is that no matter what, Nomura will not hurt the integrity of Kingdom Hearts with anything they add. It will be a carefully weighed decision, and besides, they have to stretch these things over a decent amount of time, especially considering that we have now idea when exactly Kingdom Hearts will be ending. deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted December 17, 2011 I wouldn't be too sure about that.. Well, okay, I'll admit that this may not necessarily be the case. Nomura hasn't let us down too much yet, so let's hope. We'll just have to wait and see.
A Black Sun 22 Posted December 17, 2011 I'd only be upset if every single world was a sequel or in the past or alternate timeline or whatever. right now we don't know what else will show up so i'm not one to complain. besides, i'm super excited for the tron legacy world cause that is one damn cool world, cooler than space paranoids

Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted December 17, 2011 *sigh* Monstro is not technically considered a "world" per se because it's a living creature.

Yeah exactly so they haven't had a "world" for Pinocchio yet lol but he is working through a lot of loop holes such as this.... but hey at least we're not going through the same Disney worlds YET AGAIN. Izzo 74 Posted December 17, 2011 i agree with you completely. i think he has gone back on his word, and it is dumb. but honestly, i think kh has really come on it's own, and does nto rely on the worlds as much as it did early on in the series. i know that i am here for the story now of kh itself now, i dont really care about the worlds. are repetitions dumb and boring to play? yes. do i really care? not really.
