KH3D Nomura is breaking the rules with the worlds in this game

Tetsuya Nomura said the worlds will be entirely new but three of the confirmed worlds like Pranksters Paradise, The Three Musketeers, and supposedly Tron Legacy have all been in Kingdom Hearts in some way or form.

 

Prankster's Paradise: Pinocchio was already in Kingdom Hearts and the world he was in was Monstro. Technically Nomura is bending the rules because there has already been a Pinocchio-based world along with characters from Pinocchio.

 

The Three Musketeers: This world is supposed to have Mickey, Donald, and Goofy in it so it's basically just Disney Castle/Town in another time line right?

 

Tron Legacy: Tron has already been in this game but hasn't been officially confirmed yet.

 

I've thought of some plot holes with some of these new worlds. I hope a Pixar based world is confirmed that way I won't have anything to say about it.

I'm not at all surprised about Prankster's Paradise--I kind of expected it. I definitely expected a Tron: Legacy-based world, but I didn't think it would come along until KH3, so it's a little surprising that it'll probably be in DDD.

And I don't think a world based on Tron: Legacy really bends the rules anyway, because you have to admit that the two movies are so drastically different from each other. Even in the flashbacks in Tron: Legacy, the Grid and the programs look absolutely nothing like they did in the original movie. So much for continuity there. Therefore, making a different world based on it is excusable, IMO.

 

I actually am a bit surprised about the Three Musketeers world, just because...yeah, that's really bending the rules... o_0

 

As for Pixar-based worlds, I would want to see The Incredibles, Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and A Bug's Life (and you forgot to put in Brave! ).

I guess it depends on whether or not it will actually be disney castle there, though. I mean, it's the realm of sleep, and it doesn't seem like Mickey has a keyblade yet (or maybe he will later) and we don't really know the function this world will have. It will probably be a bit major seeing as it has Mickey, donald, and goofy, but world-wise it could be completely unrelated. I mean, afterall, even in the past, Mickey seemed to always be the king and now he's a muskateer? Who knows.

And I'd like to see Toy Story. That's about it for pixar. The last Toy Story movie was traumatizing O_O

Ah yes, as for trickster's paradise...come on. It didn't make its way into Days, so it had to be coming up. Although there was already a Pinocchio based world (Monstro), Trickster's paradise is a brand knew world. Nomura never said anything about all new characters. This is probably the case for the Three Muskateers world.

Not at all but I have seen The Three Musketeers an they mention it takes place in France multiple times the Tron thing I inferred from other comments the rest I looked up. Not trying to sound like a Know-it-all, I can just understand how Nomura feels hes not breaking the rules that's all.

The three musketeers: No, It's not Disney town. It's something like Olympus Coliseum only much better. I'm shure we eill have a lot of fun there!

 

Tron Legacy: I'm not shure if they are putting it in the game. I hope not
