Which time are you talking about? When Beat was hurt angry of his parents and Rhyme came after him (in which she got hit by a car on the way there, and Beat died with her in trying to save her), or the Shark Noise fiasco? Because if I remember correctly, Beat tried to save Rhyme from the car, and Rhyme remembering that in the moment (there's even a flashback) tries to save him from the Noise. I could be wrong, but that's how I remember it. Hmm... It could be either one. Each time he failed to save his sister after all. I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
