Think Pink 1,967 Posted December 9, 2011 It's the Air Force. Failure is to be expected.
AJTREY 70 Posted December 9, 2011 I'm American and even I'm disgusted at this blatant lack of respect. However, that being said, the political situation in America has gotten completely unstable because of the political factions that control Congress. Even Madison, one of the framers of the Constitution, said in in his Federalist Number 10 that governments led by factions are prone to instability, tyranny, and even violence. People in Congress need to sit down and talk so that everything can be brought into the open. There is a reason why many republics in the past have fallen. Think Pink 1,967 Posted December 9, 2011 That still doesn't excuse it. I never said it did. I'm just saying the Air Force has screwed up on a lot of stuff and another failure/lie on their part isn't actually that surprising. The Air Force isn't exactly the most responsible, and they'll put people in charge who don't deserve to be. It's awful though that they'd try to cover it up, though. The fact that it was a landfill is where they took it too far.
Spectrum of Life 188 Posted December 9, 2011 The feds apparently have plenty of time to trample on civil liberties though. I already utterly despise the military for shattering my childhood, they're not endearing me any more with this excrement. As far as they're concerned, Soldiers are tools and their families are inconveniences.
Amon 4,279 Posted December 9, 2011 What the hell is this? We used to ship our fallen troops all the way to Arlington back in DC. Even if it cost hundreds of dollars to bring them back! This is despicable. First socialist reforms, now a blatant disrespect of fallen troops. Every day I see my country slowly turn into the Soviet Union. A huge part of America was respect for our armed forces, now we are treating them as if they were cannon fodder like the Communist and Nazi's did.
