kingdomlanelover 494 Posted November 27, 2011 I was wondering how many of you guys got final fantasy 13? It seemed like Square thought they made a mistake by putting it on the Xbox, but I bought my version for the Xbox. Also, how many of you are getting the sequel? I wish they would make Versus for Xbox.
Snow 1,800 Posted November 27, 2011 YES and YES. I love 13 so much. And you should be on the POTD team.
Grimmjow 839 Posted November 27, 2011 I bought it. It was a mistake for me. I played through half of the game hoping for it to get better. But nah. That's why I am not interested in XIII-2 I am looking forward to vsXIII tho'.

Always 309 Posted November 27, 2011 Heck yes I love Final Fantasy XIII!!!! I have it for PS3, and I'm DEFINITELY getting the sequel!
Peanut 26 Posted November 27, 2011 Yes, and I'm SO glad I got XIII! It's one of my favorite FF's, despite its linearity. The character development was just incredible, especially for Hope and Lightning. Serah's was a bit lacking in the first game, so I can't wait to see what they do in the second one with her. I'm gonna get that one for 360, just like I did with the first one. I hope they continue putting them out on 360, because PS3 is just too expensive for me, especially since you can't play PS2 or PS1 games on it anymore. Grimmjow 839 Posted November 27, 2011 EXCUSE ME? YOU THINK IT'S BAD? FIRETRUCK YOU. That's some good ol' tolerance right there.Yes I think it is bad. That's why it rots unfinished for almost a year on my shelf. If you like it I'm happy for you but why the hell you insulting me for not enjoying a game o.o

Grimmjow 839 Posted November 27, 2011 There's your problem. It's the last 10% that gets good Why should i struggle trough 90% of linear unentertaining boring monotonous shit for good 10%? 1 Zenithia reacted to this
CrownKeeper13 688 Posted November 27, 2011 I'm hopefully gonna get it for Christmas. I want to get FF13-2 once it's out
hatok 6,413 Posted November 27, 2011 Why should i struggle trough 90% of linear unentertaining boring monotonous shit for good 10%? Because you paid money for the game.
Grimmjow 839 Posted November 28, 2011 Because you paid money for the game. If I buy fast food and it tastes like crap I won't keep on eating it because I payed money for it o.o
Think Pink 1,967 Posted November 28, 2011 I bought it and I love it to death. Even though I'm stuck so I had to finish the game by watching YouTube tutorials. I'd definitely buy the sequel, it looks <3333333
hatok 6,413 Posted November 28, 2011 If I buy fast food and it tastes like crap I won't keep on eating it because I payed money for it o.o You wouldn't feel guilty about wasting your money?
Rob 5,571 Posted November 28, 2011 If I buy fast food and it tastes like crap I won't keep on eating it because I payed money for it o.o But fast food tastes like crap automatically, when you play a game it goes from bad to good. You can't compare the two. Anyway, I watched a walkthrough of FF13, so I'll be watching a walkthrough of FF 13-2.
Grimmjow 839 Posted November 28, 2011 You wouldn't feel guilty about wasting your money? I would just be mad for spending money on this piece of shit. But I wouldn't feel guilty for not finishing it. Okay another example... since it was told that 90% is bad and 10% is good: I wouldn't eat 90% of (polished) shit to be rewarded with 10% of.... let's say pizza. Kelvy 60 Posted November 28, 2011 Yes to both, the graphics and story make up for the crappy gameplay, IMO. .
lizzie1238 538 Posted November 28, 2011 I have not yet played the game, but watched all the cutscenes on YouTube and loved the story. My dad has promised me he will buy me a PS3 if I keep up my good grades in school, and XIII will probably be the first game I buy for it. When I'm done, I'll buy XIII-2, and I'm definitely getting versus XIII!
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted November 28, 2011 I already reserved the Collector's Edition for XIII-2!
axel91 161 Posted November 28, 2011 I'll get it eventually. Recently, I decided to give the FF games a try. So far, I've finished FF1, which was very enjoyable. Now I'm playing through FF2, but school work is slowing me down. My plan after that is to get FFIV: The Complete collection (I'm skipping FF3 since I heard it wasn't good on the DS), FF5 & FF6 on the GBA (if available on eBay somewhere), then download FF7. After that, I'm planning to get the HD version FFX, then FF13 after that.

Grimmjow 839 Posted November 28, 2011 But it's all worth it in the end if you eat the polished ship. Maybe I'll manage to gulp some chunks of FF-shit over an extended period of time until I get my pizza. We'll see. If that happens I'll remember to make a thread about how my final opinion on this game is and if struggling through the bad part of the game was worth the good ending. I'm a master of metaphors.
