Scar returns to the city. He decides it's not safe to fly, so he will jump from roof to roof toward the hospital. Inside, he finds a lab coat and a pair of clean scrubs so he can disguise himself as a doctor. From one of his classes he took, he knew what things to looks for; bandages, pain medicine, and some surgical suture. He leaves the hospital the same way he entered and begins to look for food. He arrives at a store called "Wal-Mart", and wondering why they misspelled "wall". He first finds food and water, then go over to the clothing section and grabs enough shirts, pants, and jackets for the group. He grabs a pair of scissors so he can cut holes for his wings, and also a fire starting kit to cook some of the food. By using his Echolocation, he plans a safe way to exit the store without any notice. He gets a safe distance away from everything and begins ascending into the air. Although the added weight from the shopping cart slows him down, he has adapted to the weight and flies normally now. He returns to the group and lands the cart. Out of breath, he grabs one of the bottles and water and an apple and digs in.

Hope jumped up excitedly when Scar arrived with the food. "Seeing magical visions into the future really takes a toll on you." She rummaged through the shopping cart. "So, have we got everyone rounded up? Maybe since we've all taken a little beauty nap and gotten some snacks, we should all head out soon. I mean, we want to fly while it's still daylight. I don't know about you guys, but since I wasn't allowed to fly a lot, it's going to be pretty hard to fly so far. I sort of know where D.C. is and it's a long while away. Let's keep our wits, though. The Erasers found us once and they can do it again. You guys ready to take off?"

Roxas nodded, and landed next to Hope, turning around and looking in the shopping cart. "Alright! Gummy bears!" Roxas moaned gratefully, ripping open the bag and scarfing them down. He grabbed a bottle of water to cleanse his throat. Hw wiped his lips, and exclaimed in relief that he drank water after so long. "Well, I'm ready. Let's go anytime. But first..." Roxas gathered some of the items and stuffed it in a backpack Scar seemed to have got. He slung it over his shoulder and walked up next to Hope. "Now is anybody else ready?" Roxas asked.

Hakura wakes up to see Scar with a shopping cart full of food. She got up and walked over, rubbing her eyes. She takes an apple from the cart and startes eatin it. "I think i feel better enough to fly for a few hours." she said streching out her wings a bit. I wonder if the erasers can find us if when we get there, she thought, from the sounds of it, the place is far and they shouldn't be able to find us.

V grabbed a banana and a bottle of water. He eagerly ate and drank both, after his walk. He grabbed a change of clothes, walking somewhat off so noone could see. Returning to the group, he quietly nodded to Hope. "I'm....ready." He whispered. He began to think about the piece of paper, which was now safely transferred into the new pocket. He pulled it out, looking over its contents. It was the same character -Ventus- intorducing himself before several people. One again, V slightly smiled.

I walk over and grab an apple and water. I quckily eat and drink them. " It's about time we leave anyway." I say and steal a quick glance at every one. I rub the last of the sleep out of my eyes. I fly up. I need to fly again anyway I think to my self. "Hey did you happen to grab a bookbag?" I ask looking over at Scare. I smile knowing that he must have stole everything in that chart. "Why'd I have to be locked up so much in the School?" I ask out loud. I smile and look over to V. He seemed to look happier I think to my self.

Scar grabbed the scissors he stole and made two holes in both the new shirt and jacket. Once he finished cutting the holes, he put the modified clothes on. He grabbed the surgical sutures out of the cart to sew up the wound on his leg. Here's one good thing i learned at school, now i just wish i didn't learn how to fight and kill he thought to himself. "You guys finish up, I'm gonna start flying and scout ahead. And don't worry, nothing can come near me without hearing them."

Hakura cut two holes into her shirt and pokes her wings out of them. Finally, she thought, something else to wear other than that damn hospital gown. She want over to Scar and said: "I'll come with you." After that long sleep, she need to go out and fly again. Hakura didn't know much about the outdoors but she'll manage. "You ready?" she said to Scar

"Sure, you can tag along, just don't have to make me slow down for you." He said to Hakura. He began to ascend and started to fly in the direction of DC. He looked back and saw Hakura keeping up with him and the others still at the makeshift campsite.

Hakura started flying, catching up to Scar. Ahh, some people don't know what they're missing out on, she thought. She flew a little close to Scar. "So, How long do you think before we reach D.C?" she said. Hakura looked down and saw trees and animals. The wind was rushing hard in her face as she flew a bit faster. She had flashbacks of all the things that happened to her in the school and how she got her powers. This gave her a shudder

V looked up at both Hakura and Scar. He raised his arm in a goodbye, but immediatly put it back down. They were probably to high to see him anyways. He sighed, looking at the page in his hand. It reassured him. He raised his arm again, and a cautious, but friendly goodbye. Ventus. He thought, A hero, with a light heart. Thats what I want to be. He nodded to himself, deciding what he was going to do.

Hope clapped, trying to catch everyone's attention. "So Washington D.C., we're all agreed?" She glanced up at the sky. "A beautiful day for flying, guys! Not a cloud in sight!" Hope extended her wings, and stretched them experimentally. She took a little leap, and was instantly lifted up. It felt nice to be flying again. She'd had so little experience before, and now that she could truly learn, it was fantastic. Of course, she was still sore from yesterday. It was the longest distance she'd flown in her entire life, not to mention it was an exciting day full of Eraser-destroying and School-escaping. She squinted into the distance. Was she actually going to be able to find D.C., just working off of what she'd seen in her vision? It seemed a bit far-fetched, not that she'd voice her worries aloud. "Let's go!"

Roxas remembered that the city that went by the name "Washington D.C." was northeast from Texas, and they by going straight, they would end up in Minnesota. Then if they went East they would end up in D.C. "Guys! The easiest was to get to D.C. is to keep going straight until we end up in Minnesota! Keep your eyes peeled for a sign that says, 'Welcome to Minnesota'." He yelled over. He then decided it was better if he went ahead and did some scouting for everybody, since they were all worn out from the night before. Even though he was injured himself, by best chance only a few Erasers appeared. "I'm going to make sure the path ahead is safe!" Hwe called out, and used his lightning to speed up his flight ahead of them.

Scar flew for 10 hours straight, he did feel a bit fatigued, but luckily the wind was in his favor that day. He found nice comfortable ground and descended onto it. While he waited for Hakura to catch up, he dug into his pack and grabbed an energy bar. Next, he went into his pants pocket and pulled out the wire that he used to fight the Erasers with. He went back into his pack and grabbed some of the cloth and kitchen knives he stole. He used the cloth to tie the knives onto the wire, and when he was finished, it became something deadly. He saw a nearby tree, wrapped the handle he made around his hands and flung it at the tree. It made a ferocious cut into the tree, and Scar was pleased. "Something clever I should name it, how about the 'Knife-lace', sounds okay." he said to himself. He saw Hakura near the area he was practicing his weapon and said "Whenever you're ready, we can go, it should only be a couple more hours until we get to D.C."

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's your decision. We'll just pretend your character didn't exist.

 

Hope landed, and took a deep breath. "Man, I wished they'd have let us practiced flying longer distances. I only ever got to fly around in that room. The--the gym, I think it was. Right?" She folded her wings, giving them a moment of race. When Scar announced it was only a couple more hours until they reached D.C., Hope breathed a sigh of relief. She would never get tired of flying, but she was getting just plain tired. It was getting a bit dimmer, and Hope guessed it would be pitch black by the time they reached Washington D.C. "Is everyone holding up alright?" Hope did a quick head count, and everyone was present.

V flew up with the others. When they mentioned places like 'D.C.' and 'Minnesota', places V had never heard of. He flew somewhat close to Hope. "Minnehsotah? Decee? I've never heard of those places before..." He said, trying to ease his own confusion. He had other questions to ask her as well, but those could wait. He noticed Hope was starting to land, so he did too. Only then did he realize just how tired his wings were.

 

(Later, would it be ok to change my characters name? To symbolize how he changes throughout?)

Hope thought for a moment. "Well, I don't really know what or where they are either. I'm just sort of winging it. No pun intended. I had a vision that insisted we all go to Washington D.C. I know there's a big pointing statue... and the White House. I'm hoping that I'll be able to see them while we're flying, and then we could land. I'm not too excited about going into another city though," Hope muttered the last part to herself. "Is anyone hungry? We've still got some snacks left!"

Hakura landed and saw Scar practicing with a weapon. She folded her wings in a bit. "What? A break already??" she asked. "Eh, since i see that your busy, we'll take a ten minute break." She went to go sit by a rock and she folded her wings all the way in. Hakura sighed and stared up at the sky. I wonder if the school is still after us, she thought.

"I'm ready, let's go." Scar said to Hakura. He took off his sunglasses and clean the lenses with his shirt. He put them back on and put his new weapon that he made into his pack. He extended his wings to the fullest and saw a feather fall to the ground. I shouldn't leave evidence that we were here, just in case the Erasers are tracking us. Scar grabbed a lighter out of his pack and lit the feather on fire. He threw the feather into the air and as it was falling, and once it hit the ground, all it was now are ashes. He started running and jumped into the air, and had started flying now. So close, only a few more hours, then once we get there, we'll be able to catch up with the others.

"Right behind ya" Hakura said and she jumped a good few feet into the air and opened her wings and started flying. She looked back to see if they've dropped anything, but there was nothing. She few higher, a few feet away from Scar. A few hours to D.C., no problem, she thought, as long as we don't run into erasers, this will be nothing but smooth sailing. Yet again, i only used my powers once, so i don't know if i can fight them. Hakura went deep into thought for the next few hours
