How stupid can people be when comparing different series?

Recommended Posts

I remember when I was on the Gamespot forum and read a thread titled "Sora is stronger than Goku". The author of the thread brought up lame points saying "Sora's never loss before and that Sora can freeze time". This is just one of many stupid comparisons I have ever seen.

Has anyone else seen stupud threads and disscussions like this?

But he used Stop on Big Ben in KH1.

Why do people think that clocks control time? If my clock stops working, I don't assume that time must be standing still :P

Very true. 'Stop' might not even stop time. It may just stop a certain thing, like a clock or several Heartless. And I think he means Sora truly stopping time, which he can not. Only I can.

I think Stop really stops time in a certain area. If you cast Stop on an enemy and then hit it, it takes damage after the spell decayed... because that is the moment time went on for that heartless.

Also while casting the spell you have clock symbols around you which are a symbol for time and not paralysation.

I love being right...

When something is completely frozen they are not moving at all. There are not moving in a slower time frame. So techinaccly being frozen delays all pain and nonsense. And when time resumes, the delayed attack will be felt, but the frozen person will not feel until time resumes. Even if a sword in the present time has already pierced through the frozen person's heart. That frozen person will still be alive in there timeframe until time becomes normal. In a slower time frame, the slowed down person wont die until the sword pierces them in their slower timeframe. So at two different points, they could be dead and alive. Alive in slower timeframe, and dead in real time. And the slowed down person moves with the same momentum and power etc, but just over a longer period of time.

Right?

So Stop just freezes a target in time. Not at a faster or slower timeframe. Just complete freeze. They will feel the pain when time resumes.

Being completely paralysed won't make me resistant to pain. Stopped time will until it wears off since for the time-frozen heartless the strike with the Keyblade hasn't occurred yet. Also if you froze someone he can't move on his own... but physical laws of force still work... if you push him he will fall. If you push a time-frozen heartless he will fall... but from his perspective he still stands since in his stopped time-line the push hasn't occurred yet. When the spell decays he will find himself laying on the ground. He missed the actions since he skipped the time but he will feel the consequences.

Edit:

I just realized you spoke of the same thing... when talking about freezing I thought you meant "stopped movement".

But hey I just supported our thesis with good arguments.

Fundamental problem with stopping time and attacking someone. At the moment the person is frozen in, they aren't being attacked, so anything you do them would not have actually happened. In order to pirce a person heart, they must physically change, which should be impossible. As such, freezing somebody in time would essentially make them immortal.

The rivalry between Digimon and Pokemon.

I made a thread on those 2 a few weeks ago, but I didn't say anything about Digimon being better. .3.
