KH3D What do you think of Sora and Riku's "Dream Buddies?"

I think they are strange, but the dog looking one Sora has is cute. They won't beat Donald and Goofy, but I'm not turned off by them.

 

I have friends who say that their new allies are "creepy," "babyish," and "annoying." One even said that he won't buy the game because of them. Ouch!

 

What do you guys think?

I'm kind of not wild about them, but I suppose I'll get used to them as I play the game and be okay with it.

The Nintendo 3DS comes with an AR card that can be used by multiple games (if the games have that function).

But now, I'm ok with Riku's Spirit pet allies. As for Sora... I'm starting to find those overinflated hamster things cute. But only because they they act so much like puppies!!! >A<

I don't think I'll ever like the Panda because it reminds me too much of the Large Body But the others I like. My fav's are Neku's pet, Sora's fat cat , and Riku's... it looks like a ram. But it's pretty.

I'm not a big fan, but then again when I first saw the secret ending to KH2, WAY before any of us fans knew of the Birth By Sleep concept, I thought Terra, Aqua, and Ven (actually, they were just the three mysterious figures back then) looked completely ridiculous in their full armor. I was thinking, What the heck is this, Power Rangers??? But then I came to love it. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png Same thing with some of the titles--I mean, Birth By Sleep, 358/2 Days, and Dream Drop Distance? What kind of titles are those? The sound of the titles was just soooo weird to me at first, but then as I got used to them, I thought they were awesome. So even though right now it seems to me like the game designers are on crack with these Dream Buddies, I'm sure I'll come to like them once I play the game.

I might need some time to get used to Sora's dog thing, but I think Riku's bat is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I'd pay good money to have a plushie of it!

I love them!!! Lol they are so weird, cute, and awesome! I DEMAND PLUSHIES!!! However, I am also wondering what drugs the designers were on.....whatever. They could just be weird, I'm weird, I come up with ideas like that all the time.

it's too soon to judge .. after all we've only seen a few of the "dream buddies" we can obtain in the game .. it's already confirmed their will be a couple dozen more.

Yeah, I don't like the panda at all. The hamster/puppy thingy is okay (why is it called a Dream Cat?), and the bat thing that might've been Riku's was kinda cute. The ram is kinda neat, and I don't now what Neku's is. A cameo of Mr. Mew p'raps?

I think they're good because they let the story focus completely on Riku and Sora. I'm not saying Donald & Goofy wouldn't be good in the story, but I think it's kind of interesting to keep the focus on them for this one.
