Here are the rumored characters that will appear.

 

The game plays on a 2D plane according to Paul Gale and will feature a lot of the characters we’ve come to love on the Playstation console such as: Kratos, Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Fat Princess, Parappa, Sweet Tooth, and Rico (Killzone). I’d also expect to see Cole from Infamous, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Solid Snake and hopefully Crash Bandicoot.

tutti frutti. hahaha, honestly I've lost track on how many times that's happened in the past. That's a good point CrownKeeper13. To me is shows that Nintendo, to say the least, isn't running out of ideas anytime soon, unlike their competitors (Sony). But I find it hard to picture as of right now, more so since I am a Smash Bros fan myself. Though it would be interesting to see, and not completely impossible. Even though, if a company has to literally "copy" a unique idea from another company exactly in the video game world, then I think that the company is pretty much running out of ideas in creating games, let alone anything else.

Would be nice to see some FF or KH characters like Sora,Roxas or......CLOUD!!!!,but I REALLY hope they make sure to not completly copy the Super Smash Bros serie,you know like how Sonic was different from Mario even if they were both 2D platformer and Sonic was made to compete Mario,Sega found a way to make it very different from Super Mario bros.I wonder what Nintendo will do if Snake and maybe Sonic are planned to be in that game,would they remove them for the next Super Shsh bros?Well for Snake I think is obvious that he's more a Sony Character so they would probably remove him,but remove Sonic?I dont think so since Sonic is alot closer to Nintendo then Sony or Microsoft,it would be nice if Sega decide to keep Sonic only with Super Smash bros.
