spenskh89 66 Posted October 30, 2011 My radio station had this question and people called in and said what they thought. Some said 1 year old don't want the candy really it's the parents that wanted them. Some said anyone in an costume. So, how OLD is TOO OLD for tricker treating? Kaiso 2,764 Posted October 30, 2011 Honestly? I would say 17. When you're in high school adults start to look at you differently when you walk up to their door demanding candy. Really though when you're around that age you should be doing other things unless you're doing it for like a younger sibling or something, like perhaps going to Halloween parties, or going to your city's more adult things in town like I did, or things like that. I'm saying 17 more off of personal experience than anything. It's honestly not as fun when you're older, your older siblings are gone, you and your friends start to feel outgrown of this sort of thing, etc. 3 Weedanort, Mirr0rVS13 and Oishii reacted to this

They have private Halloween parties all over Europe.
Kaiso 2,764 Posted October 30, 2011 o-o That's cool and... in America/the USA they have more adult things to do than trick-or-treating for Halloween that I mentioned? People here do that too, I'm just stating the more child-like thing to do here is trick-or-treating. It's very commercialized to where people think it's all about the candy and going door-to-door when most people don't even know the actual story behind Halloween... and is actually my least favorite holiday here. 1 Mirr0rVS13 reacted to this

It's a spiritual debate, so I won't get banned! But I think people older than 17 can go trick-r-treating.
Oishii 3,987 Posted October 30, 2011 Only if people start offering more mature treats should adults go trick or treating.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted October 30, 2011 there is really no age limit. It all depends on if you want to continue trick or treating or not.

XIIISwords 1,059 Posted November 2, 2011 ANYONE IN COSTUME I'm sorry, all those teenagers who walk around in jeans and tee-shirts with pillowcases and demand candy don't get anything from me. Besides them, everyone else seems fine.
Amon 4,279 Posted November 3, 2011 Warning: "Aren't you a little old to be trick or treating?" says lady as she gives you candy and a smiling face. Too old: "Aren't you a little old to be trick or treating?" says the lady as she slowly backs away and calls the police with the phone she is hiding behind her back. 1 XIIISwords reacted to this
