How is your relationship with your parents?

My parents have been divorced since I was 2...

And I almost don't see my dad...

So, "My parents are divorced, so I just have a good relation with one of them".

They're both divorced due to money issues, they didn't want me or my brother or sister to suffer the arguments to they always have. But we still love them, my dad visits us every day :D

My mom is my best friend. I can tell her anything, and she'll support me all the way. She loves me unconditionally, and I feel very lucky to have her as my mother. My relationship with her is 100% healthy.

Saying that, it makes me wonder how she found a guy like my daddy. He's kind of strict, really old-fashioned in his beliefs, and makes it very clear that he is the man of the household and that he has all the power. My dad is pretty badass, even if sometimes I don't agree with what he says. He also has this really thick German accent, so it's hard to tell what he's saying half the time...

So I guess my family is... well-balanced. Not perfect, not terrible. I'd say that my relationship with my parents are well-constructed. :)

I get along with my parents really good they have always been there for me no matter what, they are amazing I couldn't ask for better parents and I think as them as my friends and I love them because how great they have been with me and because they have also done so much for me I couldn't never pay them for all the things they have done for me all this years. :D

I know how you feel. My parents are divorced and I rarely see my dad. But it's my dads fault cause he's missing out on a great kid. :)

I agree with you. But, thanks God, I have my great grandmother, which replaces him in my life :)

Well, to start off, my parents are separated. They argued tons. I live with my dad, and things aren't so good. We barely speak to each other, and when he does we're arguing. I always get cut down for little things. it stresses me out. But then my mom. I rarely get to see her though, she lives on the other side of the city. Despite that, we get along perfectly. I can talk to her about almost anything, and she understands me.

It's pretty good, but we discuss some times. They're the best persons I know and I love them too much :3 We're like best friends, but I talk more with my mother about things than with my father. Trust me, he's scary sometimes, but I still love him >3<

I don't know why, but I like when they complain and scolds me about my grades when they're low :)

The only problem I see in our relationship is that my parents treat me as an eight years old boy and I'm sixteen, about to do seventeen (next month). I really hate when they treat me as a little kid, but I think this is something normal from the parents.

Its good. Actually I would say very good compared to (please don't take offense to this, I in no way mean to hurt your feelings) some people here, and in my school. I actually kind of depresses me that so many people have to go through all this crap with bad parents.

Also, what do you mean by discussions, exactly?

I don't really like my mom at all (she bugs me all the time and argues with me all the time) and my dad works alot of the time that I am home so we get along a little bit here and there. I am a person who keeps everything to himself, so I don't tell my family anything I don't have to.

I get along pretty well with my parents. We don't really fight that much, if we do it's usually a really small fight. We used to get into fights more often, even then it wasn't that bad. My parents are usually pretty reasonable. I don't have as close of a relationship with them as I would like though. They are both gone most of the day. Overall, I love my parents. I feel lucky that I have the parents I do.
