Honestly, I do believe that Ven and Vanitas are conneccted or have a relation, and I can't just shake off the fact that these guys are connected.

 

All we know for sure is that Vanitas sounds smiliar to Ventus, and that they know each other. Could they be friends (or used to be), or something more than that?

 

Also, I would like to point out that Ven picks up the Way of the Dawn, even though the Birth By Sleep trailer was non-canon, and Vanitas has a Keyblade similar to that. If that doesn't connect, then I don't know for sure.

 

What are your thoughts on these two?

well i also believe this.. also vanitas is said to be connected to riku and normura also said that these 2 DO have some sort of connection

Point 2 Ventus and Vanitas

Is it just a coincidence, or is there some connection? We see quite a few scenes with them together. Their names also sound similar. Just what is between the two of them!

Yes, but we are just focusing on Ven and Vanitas. The characters in KH may have a connection but probably aren't that important

 

And I know Ventus means Wind and Vanitas means Nothing. But I am just implying that Ventus and Vanitas sounds same/similar. And I looked at their names too: Ventus and Vanitas. They both start with V, third letter is N, there is a T, and both end with a S. Hmmmm, that's actually a good connection right there. Letters don't really mean anything but knowing how they are spelled and sound, that's not too shabby.

 

Also, Nomura did say that BBS will connect to all games, but I don't remember him say that all the characters are connected together. I would like a link to comfirm this, only because I don't remember him saying that.

No, I meant that all characters are all connected with each other. Not just too one or two others.

 

Spelling and order of letter's really doesn't mean anything. Or the sound of it.

 

And, no offense meant, but do you really need a link of Nomura saying things...? It's kinda...obvious that they all have some connection to each other. EVen if they havn't actually met the person, they have a connection through other people as well.

Ok, I am going to ignore the above post, since the everyone is connected to each other thing is not part of this thread, and there is no proof and it is not obivious. Cid and Beast are connected, oh yeah that makes sense.

 

Anyways, going back to what I said about their names. The letters.

 

They both start with V, third letter is N, there is a T, and both end with a S.

Now this may not seem like a good connection, but that right there is screaming to me, "THEY ARE CONNECTED!!!"
