KH3 And FFVersusXIII

Well I've had this idea for a while now and id thought i go through with it. If you look at the Final Fantasy Versus XIII Game play Trailer

. You'd notice that's its very similar to the kingdom hearts system/battle system isn't it? Could final fantasy versus be a hint of what KH3 Could possibly look like on the PS3? Just look how smooth Versus is in that trailer, The cutscenes make it feel like its an actual movie. Versus could be a bit of a sample of what could come to KH3, Thats soon on its away. Remember The end of Dream Drop Distance which is supposedly arriving to the U.S by This Summer of 2012 will answer some of your long questions about KH3 And the ending will lead you straight ahead on the path oh KH3.

i think you are right the cutscenes and gameplay of ff13versus may give us a hint for kh3 after all i think the same team will be making both games

1. Tetsuya Nomura is trying to make and more realistic and darker version of KH with FFvsXIII.

2. I dont think this is what KH3 is going to look like, seeing as they havent even started producing KH3 yet.

3. Its taking about 6 years to produce FFvsXIII, so by the time KH3 is made, Im pretty sure the PS4 would be out.

Well, there's an easy explination as to why it's so similar to KH and what KH3 might be like gameplay-wise. The team that made KH1 and KH2, and will make KH3, are making Versus XIII, which is why we've been waiting so long for KH3. By the time they finish Versus XIII in 2012, they'll start KH3 and that will most likely be done in 2015/2016.

 

As for the comment about Dream Drop Distance coming to the US in the Summer of 2012, that seems unlikely as it doesn't come out in Japan until Spring of 2012, and as we've seen in the past with translating KH games and selling them overseas, it takes alot longer than a few months. If anything, it'd probably be in the US anywhere between Fall and Winter of 2012, somewhere around exactly a year from now.

Versus 13 will be released and fps fanboys will cry for a year because of the awesomeness and realization that their genre sucks mwhahahha.

And yes it is quite similar to kh, a more bad-ass version.

3. it would make more sense to finish the current saga on the current playstation...cuz ill be damned if i buy another system when there is a perfectly fine ps3 to work with...the next saga should be on the next console

Supposedly, we are getting the game engine from this game. So that will save time and it seems to run smoothly. But the realism... I wouldn't mind having the hair and clothes look more realistic but they shouldn't go too far into realism for KH. Part of the appeal is the Disney style and Sora should still blend in with the Disney worlds. But if they can make the game look like the openings, that would be sweet.

Though I would LOVE (and I mean LOVE) KH3 to have graphics rivaling those of FF XIII and FF Versus XIII, I really don't think that it can be done.

The Disney characters would look so strange and out of place...

Though I would still be extremely happy if KH3 had the graphics of KH2's ending. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy looked great in those endings.
