Shitai looked around as he walked through a particularly weird hallway down to Lord Death's office. The doors that were open seemed to be saws that could chop someone in half if something happens. Shitai had a blank expression across his face and had his hands in his jacket pocket, walking slowly to the middle of the room. He saw a huge mirror that was in the middle of the abnormally large room with clouds floating on the floor. He breathed heavily on the mirror and put down Lord Death's number and knocked three times. "Lord Death? You there sir?" He asked in his deep voice. "Hey hey kiddo!" A huge dark cloak appeared with a weird mask in front of his face. Also a high pitched that pierced his ears and made him flinch a little. Shitai looked at his new master in front of him. "You needed me?" He asked Lord Death. "Yes I wanted you to help out with kids finding meisters and weapons tomorrow. And I think I have a meister in mind for you. You seem to be pretty lonely ever since I found you a couple days ago and you seem like you a meister. Come help tomorrow and at the end of school come to my office and I'll show you your new meister." He explained to Shitai and Shitai raised his eye brow. "Um sure. I guess." He told Lord Death and started to walk out.

Shitai noticed her pain from Cerberus attack and Shitai knew from that point that Serene was using her pain as a guard by splitting the pain between herself and Emi! Shitai stopped everything in his forearm and he was than pale from his extensive use of his energy. He started to breathe heavily and then fell on the ground under him. "Cerberus ... don't attack her anymore ... she's using her pain to hurt ... Emi!" He chocked out. All his energy was out of him, Shitai felt like he was just about to pass out but he kept up his energy up to the point that will keep him alive. Shitai crawled over to Cerberus and weakly put his hand on Emi's shoulder and Cerberus noticed. "Stop ... your ... attack." is all Shitai said before he fell on the floor, officially unconscious

"What's wrong Demy?" I ask as I see her scared face. I put my hand on Demy head. "Your not sick are you?" I could feel that Demys head felt a little sick. I took my hand off of Demys head. I look at her face. "Come on you must need a drink rite?" I ask and smile at Demy. "Come in before you get sick and I at least want you to come in my house before you have to go." I sigh.

Cerberus let go of Serena and retreated inside Emi's body. Emi awoke instantly and looked at the injured Serene and unconscious Shitai. She shook Shitai repeatedly over and over. "Wake up. Wake up! Wake up!" Emi shouted while shaking Shitai. Serene observed her own injuries; parts of her body were mildly damaged but not quite well enough to hinder her combat performance.

"I'm not really sure how you didn't end up broken into little pieces with your fragile yet admittedly attractive body. Remember, beauty is only skin deep but pain burns all the way to the soul." Serene coughed, covering her mouth with her hand. Red blood had tainted her smooth pale hands.

"This time...I will kill you." Emi stated. Cerberus in his sword form appeared in Emi's hand. "Beast Resonance!" Cerberus expanded greatly in sidze and had smaller curved blades coming out from the large main blade. Emi's clothes turned black. She looked at the limp body of Shitai and closed her eyes. "It's okay.. You can rest, partner."

 

Serene cursed, remembering when she and Emi fought the first time and, had it not been for the Executioner's sacrifice, Serene wouldn't of had time to subdue Emi. I'll have to be extremely careful from this point onward. There's no guarantee that there will be a quick escape. Serene thought. She and Emi ran towards each other, with Serene summoning a plain looking broadsword, and their blades clashed together. Through the murderous look in Emi's eyes and lack of any signs of madness on her face, Serene knew this time it was either kill or be killed.

Shitai's uncontentious body laid on the floor as Emi fought hard with Cerberus. Though inside his soul, vigorous energy filled itself. A part of his soul formed into an identical form of himself. Then another part of his soul transformed into a middle aged female with shoulder length hair. "Mother," Shitai said. "Why are you here?" He scowled at her as if she was his worst enemy. "I don't want you to be upset with me. You know I didn't want you leave the town, but it was coming since we never let you train." She said looking down. "You just couldn't wait for me to leave. You barely stopped my brothers from hurting me! They used to attack me all the time for "messing with their training". But I don't remember you barely stopping them!" Shitai shouted at her. "We ... we ... we wanted you to be able to take a hit. Not for you to be weak." She said softly. "Yeah say that to Jake, who's a brass knuckle and used to get me with his silver knuckles." Shitai looked away from her with a sickening look. "I am sorry for doing that to you." She said in a regular voice. "You'll need more than that to apologize. Years of nothing and one apology ain't nothing!" Shitai snapped. "I just want you to know that I'm sorry." She said as she disappeared. Shitai dissolved into the soul and Shitai snapped open his eyes and saw Emi fighting with Serene.

ok sorry demy said following her.she was deep in thought about school and what would happen tomorrow.hey do you think that guy who helped us will be in tomorrow i heard he took a job and is still gone she asked.she looked at her then back at the houses.are we close to your house yet she asked.

I sigh. "Yeah we were." I say as I run up to her. "Oh never mind. Yeah we're close. Oh I hope he'll be back soon." I say. I stop again. "Demy, stop walking you have already pasted it." I say standing there. I look at Demy and wait for her to turn around and face me. I smile "You know it's almost getting dark." I say.

demy stopped and turned around to face lisa.oh sorry she said walking over to lisa.she looked at her house.i know it's geting dark demy said.demy looked around.so this is where you live it's pretty cool demy said.demy looked at lisa.i'm going to be heading home now see you tomorrow demy said.she waved and walked off.i wanno start at beginner jobs with her just in case but soon we'll be forced onto the hard ones that can result and complete death she thought.

Emi thrust Cerberus into the ground and a pair of large black tentacles reached up from beneath Serene and attempted to drag her down. Serene quickly evaded the tentacles and seemed to teleport behind Emi, stabbing her in the back and separating Emi from Cerberus. She then forced Emi to the ground, dragged her, and slashed her multiple times repeatedly before letting go and focusing on Shitai, trying to decide what to do.

"Okay, bye Demy." I reply. I sigh. "I guess I can tell her another time." I muttered. I put my hands behind head and walked inside my home. I sigh again and then I head to my bedroom. I pick up a book on Kung fu and I plop down in my bed. I sigh once more and I start to read where I had left off last time.

 

(Demy we have to wait for the other to finish their mission.)

Shitai finally got up and screamed "EMI!" As he started to sprint. Serene wasn't going to let that happen. She ran in between and her eyes turned purple. "No! I shall not let you ruin my plan!" Serene shouted fiercely at Shitai and he slid to a stop. 'Oh hell no you bastard! You're not going to hurt her!' Shitai wanted to scream at him but didn't since he felt a bubbling force coming from his soul. He made a grunting noise like something hurt, which did but not as much to make a sound. Shitai's face went totally pale and he fell to the floor again. Serene looked very surprised, it seemed like his wasn't the spell she tried to induce. He made another noise and felt a sharp pain in his chest. Finally he let out a huge scream that bellowed out of his throat like he was dying. Then his body started to glow from his blue aura and his form shifted to something not of his weapon form. His upper body shifted to something of a curve and the rest of his body turned long with a weird design over it. The blue disappeared and a scythe appeared! Shitai had another form in his body that was a scythe! The blade was incrediably sharp looking with a black and red design on it. Shitai opened his eyes in the scythe and noticed it wasn't his claymore form. "Where am I? What weapon form is this?" He asked himself in confusion.

Emi put her hand on the Black Blood. "Blood Hunter!" She shouted. The blood that spilled turned into a large spike and impaled Serene while Emi ran up to Shitai. "That's a new form for you? I wonder..." Emi grabbed the scythe and cut Serene in half with it. Although bisected, Serene was still alive. "I'm not finished with you yet! Next time I see you, I-"

"Shut up."Cerberus spawned from Emi and crushed Serene, satisfying his need for her death, even though he knew she wasn't actually dead. He faded back into Emi, who's resonance with Cerberus ended and her power reverted back to normal. She's not gone for good. We should go back to Lord Death for now Emi thought. "I wanna go home." She said to her partner, Shitai. Emi waited to see if everything was alright before moving.

Shitai just stared into darkness of his form. He couldn't tell what was going on. Emi just sliced the person in half... And the person survived. This was blowing Shitai's mind so much he didn't know what to do or say. "Yeah we can." He said without noticing. He started to wonder if it was just her and the other scientists that were causing trouble. But what was the missions certain goal again? Shitai didn' t remember, just to check it out he guessed. He finally opened his eyes and saw Emi walking through the dark hallway to get out of the ruin castle. "Emi have you been walking this entire time?" Shitai asked and thought of getting out if his weapon form for a second. Emi didn't reply. "Emi?" He asked again and tried to sound louder in case.

"Uh... Kinda. I think its been a while since we started our mission and I do know a fast way to get back home but I need your permission to use it. Its a special teleportation skill I learned from a friend of mine back when I stayed with the scientists. In order for it to work you need to be in your normal form, though." Emi stated. She closed her eyes and looked at Cerberus. The Black Blood creature stared at Emi with great focus.

"Using that technique is definitely not your strong suit. As a meister and, in a way, a Weapon you need to be careful about how you use your abilities. You and I both know that the Black Blood and Magic don't always get along, especially in your case. Be careful."

"I'll be careful, promise." Emi said before opening her eyes and looking at Shitai.

Shitai looked at Emi with a little tilt of his head. 'She seems to be acting weird,' Shitai thought 'I wonder if that Serene chick was really getting to Emi on a mental level that she couldn't take anymore. But how could Serene take a blow and slice in half and still stay alive? That's the huge question that puzzels to me right now. But I don't think it's my place to say anything right now. I guess what Emi is about to do she should do it now.' Shitai opened his mouth to say something but stopped himself and gestured his head a little. For some reason, he thought she would get the idea to use whatever she told him about.

Emi drew a circle using a small drop of her blood and put her hand in the center. It formed a hole in the ground and a bunch of lights inside. "Sorry about using the blood, no other choice since I don't have any small tools." Emi said while looking around. She knew Serene probably left the area but didn't want to take any chances. Serene had more power than anyone Emi ever fought, including the 'strange blonde haired woman' and her partner. "You ready to go?" Emi asked without paying much attention to herself. I'll kill that woman one day. Serene will die and it'll be by my hand only! No one else's! Emi thought. A tear fell down her face as she clenched her fist in anger.

Shitai didn't have to answer for the portal to start working. A huge flash of light appeared out of the portal and made their hair blow back in the process. 'Serene...' Shitait thought as he felt like he was drifting through the portal 'Wherever you left to, I'm going to get revenge for Emi. I don't know what you did to her in the past but it must have been strong enough. You'll pay for hurting my meister. Just wait until we meet again!' Shitai shouted to himself in his mind as he appeared with Emi in the front of the DWMA.

man i can't wait to get home and relax demy said runing down a alley.she climbed over wall and went into the back door of her house.come here midmight she called as her cat walked out from he room.demy grabed the cat and went to the kitchen.sorry i was late demy said puting the cat on the floor.she pulled out the cat food and poured a bowl.demy put the bowl next to the table.i can't wait for school tomorrow i wonder if that nice boy will be there she thought.

"Yay! We're back home!" Emi shouted happily. She was ready to rest, but then she remembered she had no money and stayed at the DWMA. A sigh escaped Emi before she could stop it. "We need to get some money so that we can get our own place to stay. And then maybe we can get some really cool stuff like a TV and videogames and stuff." Emi said while walking inside the school. She never really played any kind of game as a child or watched TV among other everyday pleasures and wondered what those things were like.

Shitai put his arms behind his neck and outstretched his back a little. "A job?" He asked before he could think about it. "I don't know, I don't think I could handle rude people I'd probably cut them with my claymore blade. I may seem nice, but when I'm pissed I'll snap without a second thought." He told Emi and he kept his arms behind his back and his eyes closed. "Maybe we can think of something or Lord Death can help with this situation." He opened his eyes and saw Lord Death's door and opened it for Emi and walked through. Shitai looked through the corridor of gates leading to Lord Death and gave a huge sigh. He began to walk as fast as he could just trying to get over the whole mission and sitting down. Both of them finally made it and Lord Death turned around. "Hello, hello! How are ya two? Did the mission go well?" the Shinigami asked. "Very well if I can say so myself. We found the issue was kishin eggs and a chick called Serene controlling peoples minds to make them forget. Especially DWMA students so we couldn't tell you. We got her though she escaped before we could finish her off." Shitai explained as he put his arms behind his neck again and gave a yawn. "OOOOH!" Lord Death gasped. "Amazing! Good for your first mission! Good job both of you!" He squeked.

"Um th-thank you Lord Death. I'm sorry I broke my promise. It won't happen again." Emi said quickly. Cerberus spawned from Emi and looked at Lord Death "She meant well by using the Black Blood without permission. Her only goal was to protect her Weapon, partner, and first benevolent friend in a while." Cerberus looked at Shitai when he said the last part. For your sake you better treat her kindly. I refuse to be the only one to suffer when she's upset. Cerberus thought before returning his gaze to Lord Death. "We will take any punishment you will give us, but I do ask that you please be merciful."

"Your scared?" Emi asked Cerberus innocently.

"You wish. It's just been a long, boring mission and I haven't had a single soul of any kind to eat." Cerberus complained.

"You know why I haven't given you a soul yet. We gotta make sure its safe for you to get stronger, first."

"Whatever." Cerberus disappeared.

Shitai rolled his eyes when Cerberus said he hasn't eaten any souls in a long time. Shitai is suppose to be one who eats souls to become a Death Scythe not Cerberus. "I don't think Emi should be punished." Shitai outbursted. "She thought she had to because I was down from Serene and she didn't want me hurt. If she gets punished I get punished with her." Shitai told Lord Death as he looked him in the mask. "Hm?" Lord Death chimed. "Very noble Shitai sticking up. Well I wasn't really going to punish you anyways. Yeah you said you used your Black Blood, but I don't think you intended to use it against anyone besides Serene. As long as Shitai wasn't hurt by the blood and everyone's alright I'm fine with the use of the blood." Shinigami explained to Emi and Shitai. Shitai raised an eyebrow in confusion but shrugged. "Guess no harm no foul." He raised his shoulders as he said it. "Anyways Lord Death where are we going to stay? I'm just saying we both in the dungeons and we don't have any money. Emi suggested jobs but I can't do a job since my temper is so bad. What should we do?" He asked putting his hands in his jacket pocket. Shinigami didn't answer right away, he really waited a few minutes and gave the answer, "Get a job." which made Shitai growl and clench his teeth. 'Damn Shinigami always making me do stuff that's uneeded.' Shitait growled in his head.

"You okay?" Emi asked Shitai.I don't think "Get a job" was the answer Shitai was looking for. If his temper's not that good, but Lord Death wants us to get a job, maybe we can get a job somewhere he won't have to worry about dealing with annoying people. Unless I'm annoying him... She thought. "Lord Death, do you have any suggestions as to where we should get a job? Somewhere Shitai won't have to worry too much about getting upset dealing with mean customers?" Emi sort of squirmed when she asked her question and looked at Shitai while waiting for a response. Just don't irritate him, Emi. That's all you have to do. Help him work through his anger when he's mad and you'll both be fine. Emi thought.

The Shinigami turned around and looked at his mirror. "Well," He started, "There is a coffee shop that doesn't really have mean customers. Coffee shop could be a start for you two." Shitai listened and his eyes grew wide from hearing coffee shop. 'Oh God,' Shitai thought, 'I'm probably going to have to work there?! I'd rather be poor...' Shitai thought to himself and his jaw clenched again. "Fine!" Shitai spat and started to walk out before he exploded. He didn't hate the coffee shop, he just hated the idea of working. People ordering him around like he was some servant? That pissed him off just thinking about it. He slammed the door the lair and walked toward the dungeon area where he called home. He didn't hear Emi anywhere but he didn't care, he just wanted to be alone.

I was bored of reading and I got from my bed. I slammed the book down against a small table in the middle of my room. I then punched the table. "Gah!" I screamed very loudly. I then jumped into my bed. I put the pillow over my head and started to scream. I just screamed in till I passed out from lack of air. I woke up about 20 minutes later. I then took the pillow off my head and I punched it over and over in till I passed out again this time not to wake in till morning. I sighed in my sleep.

when demy was done going through her notes she went up stairs to her room.she took her shoes off and layed down on her bed.god dang it i wish i could just punch him she yelled looking at a picture her brother made her.he left two days ago and still hasn't returned demy said.demy sighed.tomorrow night i'll go look for him tonight i'm going to bed early demy said.she got up and went downstairs to get her cat.demy went back upstairs and turned the lights out.she closed the door and layed down on her bed again and fell asleep.
