    • Always, for every game I buy.

    • Often, I usually reserve games I know I will buy.

    • Sometimes, if there is a pre-order bonus I want.

    • Rarely, only one or two games a year.

    • Never, I only buy games once they are out.

I only pre-order if it is a game that has a bonus or if I know I need to put the money down on it so I don't waste the money. Right now I have The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword on pre-order with every bit paid off of the delux one and I only had to pay $15 for it because I took advantage of the trade in any 3 games and get more trade in value at GameStop.

Not usually, but I somehow ended up pre-ordering resistance 3 when I bought portal 2, and somehow ended up reserving a copy of mw3 when I picked up resistance 3....gamestop workers know how to talk into things....

Oh yes, I pre-order my games quite often, especially with all the KH games (except the Final Mixes) and some Final Fantasy games! The only times I don't pre-order are when 1) The game has already been out for a while and I didn't even know either of its existence or its awesomeness beforehand (like Eternal Sonata, etc.), or 2) When it's a game that I don't feel like I need immediately, and I'd rather wait until the price goes down (like Ace Attorney, etc.).

I don't- whenever I order things it usually takes a long time to ship (like the Final Fantasy XIII game that was supposed to arrive a week or so ago!!), so I just go ahead and get them the first day they come out. :P

Nope, I've pre-ordered before and wound up spending 60 dollars on a crappy game. I never buy a game until I've played a demo or read/watched several reviews no matter how good the reputation of the developers is.
