KH3D The Reaper's Game

For those that are still here, correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't Nomura say that Neku appears in Traverse Town during his first week, but he's ditched Shiki?

 

Well, I have a feeling a lot of Week 2 stuff is going to go down. In which after Neku and Sora play, the game may end up null. After all, Sora's not dead (though, techically, the RoS is as close to death as you get in KH). So the game shouldn't count. Nor should he play at all.

 

Anyway, what do you guys think might happen with that? I think the Reapers will be up to no good.

 

We definitely know a certain Composer has something up his sleeve in sending Neku to Traverse Town. Especially since Neku getting sent to the UG was a Game so the Composer (you know who he is) could decide what to do about Shibuya.

 

But what do you guys think will happen? Will we only play one game with Neku? But where does that leave the arrangement of him playing with Shiki, Joshua, and the Beat?

 

Will we even see them? Will we see Rhyme, Mr. Hanekoma, Game Masters, Conductors, Harriers, Sho, Uzuki, Kariya... and so on and so forth?

 

Will Neku's lack of faith in people effect Sora?

 

Will Sora see Shiki (looking like Eri) and think she's Kairi?

 

Will we see an entrance fee for Sora? Could he get Erased?

 

Will Sho say people are zetta slow?

 

Will Shanna (me) stop asking "will" questions and referring to herself in third person? Probably not. LOL.

Well, considering that Nomura "resets" the worlds stories just to fit Sora into their stories, then we'll probably see Neku from before the first day of the first game. Hahaha! I'd love that, too. Sho is so much fun! I'd love to see Sora face him. And Noise. I especially want them to do missions like the microphone one. I loved TWEWY because it wasn't all fighting. There was detective work. LOL.

 

I wonder if when Riku goes to Traverse Town he'll play the game, too. Maybe he'll be partnered with Joshua, Beat, or even Rhyme. Rhyme would do wonders to give Riku confidence.

 

But, yeah, I'm excited. And I like the way you're thinking. Meeting Traverse Town's Composer would be awesome. I wonder if the game is setting the stage for a sequel to TWEWY. I just hope they keep it mainly true to the game's canon.

 

I wonder if the'll have Pins and Tin Pin Slammer...

 

I especially wonder what Sora's Entrance Fee will be.

 

And maybe they'll use parts of TWEWY's sountrack in it! That would be awesome. I love those songs! Or maybe the groups will do new songs for it:)

I get where you're coming from, and that's how I felt at first. But then I started thinking, and it does seem they're going to incorperate it more. The story works so well with 3D. So who knows what they'll do?

 

But from what I've seen and heard, it's pretty canon. I"m sure they'll try to keep it that way, or the very foundations of TWEWY would be torn down, otherwise. But it could work so well with KH! Especially since there are other UGs. Who says there aren't some on the KH worlds? LOL.

 

And since there's a chance there might be a sequel, I think they might keep it more canon so they can make one. I do think part of the reason for including the game was to bring in new fans from both series.

I just need to buy a 3DS already. I have the money, but I'm so careful when it comes to my money. I always think, "I have to save it in case I need it for something." And then when I have enough money for what I want to buy, I still don't usually buy it. I think, "but what if I later need even more money?", and then I save even more. And I do want a 3DS and plan to buy one, but I don't know... maybe I'll just ask for it for Christmas. LOL.

Yeah, there are a lot of similarities to Riku and Joshua, but I also think they're really different. Joshua has a God complex (evident from how he wants to destroy Shibuya, and how he killed Neku and put him in the UG) and is more manipulative. But I think his friendship with Neku, and the others if he does end up hanging out with them, will make him even better. In some ways, Joshua and Riku are opposites.

 

Could be. I definitely think they're planning something with having Neku in the game. Maybe it'll set the stage for a sequel.

 

And I don't know what you mean by the last one, dear. Yes, I am being like Josh. LOL.

 

Also, do you think Shiki's personality is originally what Kairi's was supposed to be? It would make sense. I think if Kairi actually had a personality (because we don't see her enough to know what she's like), she'd be like Shiki.

 

Actually, I sort of think Shiki's nicer than Kairi in ways. Kai's always poking fun at Sora, but I guess she doesn't mean it. But it's weird that she's supposed to have no Darkness in her heart, and she does that. And Shiki, who's most valulable posession was herself, and she was jealous of Eri, almost seems Lighter.

 

But in Kairi's defense, Sora is hopeless... I just wish they integrated her into the games more, and that she wasn't a damsel!

Probably, he'll fight using SOME pins, not every, we can use in TWEWY. I expect him to use one of the fire ones and that one that creates lightning everytime you scratch the stylus on an enemy. Actually, I think it's pretty certain that he'll use a fire pin, 'cause the very first pin he used in battle was a fire one, so I think that turned his signature pin I would love to see Neku levitating while he's summoning the flames, like he does in TWEWY, IT WOULD BE SO ZETTA FREAKING ULTRA POWER INCREDIBLE 'W'

 

About Riku going to Traverse Town, I think he won't partner with Neku, 'cause Sora already helped Neku at the time Riku arrives and maybe when Riku arrives in TT (Traverse Town ), it'll be another day of the game, so I would love to see him with Joshua. But I have a feeling that Joshua won't appear in DDD, 'cause I don't know what a Composer would be doing in The Game of another Composer... :blink: Probably, he'll partner with Beat (I WOULD LOVE TO SEE RIKU INTERACTING WITH BEAT ) or with Rhyme. I agree that she would give Riku enough confidence for him to keep going in the Mark of Mastery.

 

About Sora entering The Game... I don't think he'll participate The Game directly. First of all, they can't show Sora dying, that would rise the censure of the game. Second, Neku showed Sora his timer. We all know that all Players receives their timeres at the same time, so Sora didn't have a timer in his hand while Neku already had. Neku will just be the partner of TT.

 

Who besides me thinks that Neku was "reseted" to never have meet Shiki before? I think that Sora will do Shiki's paper, that it's making Sora an important person to Neku, so they can be friends.

Agreed. Hahaha. I so want to see Neku fight like that. He has to have the fire pin, right? It's so important to the story. Plus, TWEWY was inspired by CoM's card system. So you'd think they'd put pins in there.

 

Maybe that's why it's on the 3DS. LOL. So we can activate pins on the touch screen. I just hope it's a little more accurate then it was in TWEWY. I also imagine we might have the ice pillar one, the Neku attacking one (forget what it's called), and the one where you sling objects. Pretty much the first pins you get, if Neku's going to be a party member for that world. I also imagine he might be the tutorial guy.

 

But you'd think Josh would show up sometime, right? I mean, it has to be his fault that Neku's in Traverse Town. Neku is his proxy, after all. But Joshua as Riku's partner might be good. It might show Riku not to beat himself up, and Joshua's, "Give up on the world, and you give up on yourself." Might help Riku, too. But it's actually the other way around for him.

 

But if Riku partners with Beat... wow. And he thought Sora wasn't bright/didn't pick the brightest friends (no offense to Beat).

 

I think I really want to see him with Rhyme though. She's kind of like Nami, and both could really help him (Naminé already has). I just really want to see more of Rhyme and fight alongside her.

 

Yeah, I think Sora will be like Joshua and not have a timer. Though, technically, the Realm of Sleep is sort of KH's death, it's not close enough though. I imagine he'll only play the one week with him.

 

I thought Nomura said Neku got seperated from Shiki somehow. And I doubt they'd do that since Neku and Shiki became so important to each other. I really can't see Sora being Neku's week 2 entry fee. I suspect most of the TWEWY story will take place within week 1. So, we will likely pair up with Neku to help him find Shiki who has somehow gone missing. The boss for Traverse Town (at least the first visit) will more than likely be Yodai Higashizawa. If we see Sho, he will likely be a Hidden Boss like Sephiroth and Vanitas' Lingering Spirit since he has such a fanbase and is stupidly hard to kill in his Taboo form.

 

As for Riku, I see him, if he even gets to see TWEWY characters, either paired with Joshua or Rhyme. Mainly because I think he wouldnt get along too well with Beat and would probably knock him out to shut him up.

 

I noticed someone asked about seeing Shiki in her actual body. My guess is that will probably be shown at quick glance during the ending credits. Much like the Genesis Feather in BBS.

 

My real question. What are our chances of seeing Taboo Dream Eaters?

Wait another thought!!! Most of the enemies in kh have been a bit random but some where actually based on objects but rarely do we see a whole set of enemies based on animals in kh. but twewy had animal based noise.... sooo think that could be a reason why dream eaters look the way they are?

Reading through the thread, it seems like there is a lot of wishful thinking that I doubt will happen. We won't have pins for sure. They aren't going to make a separate battle system for one world, especially it'll be the first world where we have to learn how to use the controls.

 

I don't think we'll have noise. Dream eaters are the monsters in this game and Neku already knows what they are. They don't need noise. And as much as I would love Sho Minamimoto call Sora a yoctogram, we know his boss will be a block, monkey... thing. Unless he's Riku's boss or just an antagonist in the cutscenes, I doubt he'll be in the game.

 

But Riku's side may open more possibilities. I would like to see that, instead of him helping with the game like Sora, that he's somehow involved with the Reapers. Not for him to be in league with the Reapers, of course, but it would be interesting to see how Riku would handle that.

Oh, I didn't know Neku got separated from Kai... ops, Shiki Then, I think this changes a lot of our thinkings Maybe, at first and as seen in the trailer, Sora will want to help Neku in The Game, but at some point Neku will explain to Sora that he can't play and then, somehow, Neku says that he was separated from Shiki saying something like: "I got separated from someone very important." and then Sora: "Oh! I also got separated from someone very important too (Riku)! So, we can help each other look for their important someone!" and then Neku accepts and becomes Sora's partner for Traverse Town. Remember, Players aren't forced to clear the mission. Every Player will be freed form their Timers if just a Player clears the mission, so I think Neku won't be focusing on the mission, but will be trying his best to look for Shiki.

 

But... What about Neku's Dream Eater? How that cat will be fighting? Maybe it'll attack at the same time as Neku to begin a combo, maybe it'll have the same function as Sora's DE (Dream Eaters ) that is to "fuse" and do a strong attack.

 

Okay... Now I'm seeing how the Riku/Beat combination wouldn't work... They are A LOT diferent! Maybe Riku/Rhyme.

 

But I really can see Riku/Shiki working, because Riku would be looking for Sora while Shiki would be looking for Neku and they'll do the same thing as Sora and Neku: They would partner up to look for their important someone. OH MY GOD, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME FOR THE PLOT!!!!!

Agreed. She would have Darkness. But gosh is she good for staying with Neku. Especially since he almost killed her!

 

Yes! I would love to buy clothes that increased your stats. Or, "Sora, if you want through this wall, you must wear all Lapin Angelique." That would be so hilarious! Especially if we got to see him in the clothes!

 

I'd love animal enemies. Maybe that is why the Dream Eaters are the way they are.

I would love that! Here's hoping for a 3DS sequel. I could so see Square doing that. By including Neku, they're already bringing in new fans from both series. So I could see them being like, "Now that you have a 3D3, and played KH3D, prepare for TWEWY3D!" LOL.

 

Yeah, there probably won't be pins:( But you know Neku, at least, will have them. But there may be some similarities since Nomura has done quite a few things in KH because he was inspired by TWEWY.

 

But by TWEWY rules, there has to be Noise if they're playing the game, right? And Neku did say, "Stupid Noise," in the trailer. But I think he was referring to how loud Sora was being...

 

I just want Sho involved. LOL. He would make an awesome secret boss though. Story wise, gameplay wise, I don't care. Just put him in the game.

 

That's a neat idea. And I could see it happening. It would show the difference between Sora and Riku, if Riku took Beat's route.
