Azure Flame 670 Posted October 11, 2011 What do you think of the KH13 roleplaying section?
Wolf on the Run 391 Posted October 11, 2011 its great because theres so many creative people on the site who are fun to make the rps with and always include you and all the ideas that come in seeing how they turn out is really fun to see
Protoman 1,974 Posted October 11, 2011 I lol'd at what you put for the second option. Do you realize how hard it is to respond to a one liner with something that is actually relevant?
Vanitas 127 Posted October 11, 2011 Sometimes people cant elaborate so much on small things so option 2 for me

It's also hard to post a paragraph sometimes, like when a fight's going on between two people without auto-hitting them
Kaiso 2,764 Posted October 11, 2011 Honestly?: Not many people post a legit paragraph and their role-playing is hardly descriptive at all. It bothers me how much people can't be creative enough to come up with a paragraph even if they're just saying something or just fighting someone. People just need to try to go into more detail with what's going on in that moment! It really isn't that hard to be consistent with posts and make a decently-lengthed post. It's a shame how many can only write one sentence (if even that) with such little detail. It's upsetting to me. I'm happy it's a popular section, but I just wish people would give more legit effort than I usually tend to see. Yeah people are giving some effort, but not enough if they can't be creative enough to write just a little bit more. 5 Sora96, Oblivion 22, Ivan and 2 others reacted to this

Fluff is easy, I swear. For me, at least it gives me some background instead of a stick figure with Microsoft Sam's voice. 3 Kaiso, Koko and Ivan reacted to this

SkyEmerald 73 Posted October 11, 2011 I like it, it's fun. Also the length of what you write doesn't determine how creative you are, someone can write a long paragraph that's bad and write a short one that is good, it all depends on one's skill in my opinion. DragonMaster 1,166 Posted October 11, 2011 I voted, "We have a role-play section". I know we had one, I just never bothered to even click on the link leading to the page. Not really a role player. 1 3636yousef reacted to this

I know, but I'd at least like some discription of what someone is actually doing. Maybe I'm just a little nitpicky, though.
Key2Oblivion 37 Posted October 11, 2011 I'm not trying to flame or anything, but what is the point of Role Playing? Like I like the some RPG games but idk something about doing it over the internet like this is sorta weird you know. Anyway, I kinda want to try it but I'm having a hard time getting into it, anyone wanna help me out and get me hooked I guess?

Number XV 490 Posted October 12, 2011 It really makes no sense to do a paragraph in a fight scene, and say stuff like "Bob felt angry, and was about to attack.' It just not make sense to say stuff like that to make a paragraph. If the one liner is good when two people are fighting, then that person is creative. It's then annoying if moderators get mad at you. It's a fight for pete's sake. You have to do one liners unless you want to do cheap attacks against who you're fighting with. Sigrun 1,064 Posted October 12, 2011 meh its ok, i just get annoyed with n00bs flooding the section because they sometimes make half-baked plots and their franchise logic doesn't make sense when people are in a cannon RP. example: unnamed n00b:"my character has a X-blade!" me: "thats very nice...but i doubt you ripped the darkness of your characters heart and make him/her to fight that dark/light half to even forge the x-blade?" unnamed n00b: "uh...my characters all powerful!" It's not that hard.Fight scenes should be easy even. Notice how something like "Bob attacked." seems so bland and boring. While "Bob felt furious. The anger inside seemed to boil up and build. He burst, his anger getting the better of him as he lunged forward, attempting to attack his enemy." sounds a lot better and is longer. And that took me, what? 2 minutes. You can do more. Describe the setting, the tension, everything, and builds and makes the RP itself better. Use what they teach you in English class, or look at the examples in the guidelines. ITS NOT HARD also everything Kaiso said. 3 Kaiso, Sora96 and Oblivion 22 reacted to this
