Vorian_Rob 49 Posted October 10, 2011 So it is obvious to anyone who has played the game for even 10 seconds, that Sora's trademark Kingdom Key is the base for the Kye-Blade. It is also well know that Sora is the closest thing to pure light we have seen in this series so far, with the exception of the Princesses of Heart. These factors plus his own Main character hacks, raise the question. Do you think that our knight in shining clownshoes will ever wield the ultimate weapon, the Kye-Blade? The only way for someone to wield it is if they create it, and the only way to create it is for a heart of pure light (Not close, it has to be completely pure) and a heart of pure darkness (has to be pure as well) to combine. Sora's heart is not pure light, as he's got a little darkness. Eh, I think Azure Flame is right. It's been a long time since I last played BBS, but the impression I got from what Master Xehanort said is that it has to be a heart of pure light against a heart of pure darkness, not two hearts that each have some light and some darkness. I believe the process of forging the χ-blade needs these hearts to collide and absolutely clash, rather than balance each other out. Sort of like the process of creating a lightning bolt--you need negative and positive charges; equal and opposite. Otherwise, Master Xehanort probably could've forged the χ-blade just fine by having Terra and Aqua fight each other and combine hearts. Or he himself could've done this with Master Eraqus. If it had been an option for him, he wouldn't have needed to go through the trouble of creating Vanitas, you know? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In his reports, MX stated that the only way to summon the X-Blade is to have an intersection between a heart of pure darkness and a heart of pure light. Riku has fully immersed himself in the darkness before, and whatever darkness you guys seem to think is dwelling withing Sora, as miniscule as it is, would be simple to purge (supposing it wasnt whiped out when Kairi hugged him and returned him to his human form). We were introduced to the X-blade in birth by sleep which happened 10 years before kh1 started, We now that ventus's heart is in sora, and we know that MX is back. MX's main goal is to open Kingdom Hearts and not the fake one that uses peoples hearts to open it. MX wants the power of kingdom hearts so some how he will forge the X-blade probably with sora since he is the closest to pure light. And also, why would you introduce the blade if you were not going to bring it back. Its like introducing a character then never seeing him again throughout the whole series. Zenithia 305 Posted October 10, 2011 tutti frutti. I couldn't disagree with Azura Flame and Always about the X-Blade. You pretty much need a being of pure light and a being of pure darkness. Overall, I don't think that Sora will every use the X-Blade in the storyline. The only way I can see that happening is if Nomura added it through side missions/quest, kind of like getting the Ultima through synthesis or No Name from defeating the MF. Under the PoH, the only real character to be a being of any sorts of pure light is Ven from what MX did to him. But, in the back of my mind, I have that feeling that if the X-blade is actually invovled in the story to where Sora "DOES" get the X-Blade, then Nomura would be pretty much rearranging the rules of the KH univers, which is something that wouldn't really surprise me at this point in the series.
