i don't live near the sea i can'r get sea salt my mom would kill me for making a mess so y people need to staart selling it maybe a shop called sea salt ice cream where they only sell sea salt ice cream

 

Neither do I. but they sell it at typical supermarkets by the spices.

The reason it's a fave treat is that it was a favorite treat of Ansem the Wise, as seen in the last hidden scene of BBS, and also a couple of statements from in in KHII. Now any practical reasons...? I think waytothexdawnx's up top is satisfactory.
