I'm just asking this as we'll have an update to the chat feature in a month or so... the most exciting features are the ability to chat to your Facebook and Gtalk (lol does anyone use this?) friends, the ability to block people from chatting to you, and also, guests will be able to chat (not sure if I'll enable this... probably not). Hope you look forward to it.

I used to use it, but random people kept trying to talk to me when I really didn't want to. Someone even asked me my real name and age every day, and I kept having to say I couldn't tell him. Yet he kept trying to, almost stalking me... I just want to be able to browse in peace without having to chat with someone every five seconds...

I use it often. I find that most people's trouble with the chat system come from simply not knowing how to use it.

It's ok, I don't mind it too much; but having random people I don't know *cough*orreallycaretoknow*cough* inviting me to a chatroom or saying "hi" or just spamming some ad for a site is rather annoying. =__=;;

You and SK3 have a sick sense of humor. But to answer the question, I'd rather we didn't, but if there are people who did use it, you can just keep it on and I just won't use it.

Yes I like it. I just don't like when some people keep talking to me and saying "hi". Chatroom invites are cool, though, I just ignore when I don't wanna go.

I talk to KingdomHearts125 a lot with it. If the facebook thing is optional that would be fine. It would be great if we could have the option to increase the font size a little. Japanese is hard to read in it Ummm, oh and the drawing feature is very glitchy but I don't think there's much you can do about it. So, I like the feature. Can't wait to see what you do to improve it ^^

I use it a lot. And I love it. What bothers me is that every time someone sends me invitations to Chatrooms, when in reality, it's very very rare for me to join it. I asked a person to stop sending it, but he just won't stop

As much as I love Lady Koko and the few times we've talked and the fact I stalked her tumblr for a while, I get a lot of random messages to join chat rooms, and as someone else said, 'that's fine' and I can just ignore it if I don't feel like it. 9 times out of 10 I don't feel like it, though.

 

That's not to say it's a bad thing that at least someone is trying to get people to actively communicate. The bad thing is that a lot of times the chats I get pulled into are far, far, far away from anything related to Kingdom Hearts. Generally speaking, that's why 9 times out of 10 I don't bother going.

 

If someone -wanted- to have a lively discussion or philosophical debate about anything Kingdom Hearts related, I'd totally chat with them. I'd love to even have giant group chats, so long as there was a topic at hand, or, heck, even a pre-arranged date and time for people to look towards showing up just -to- chat.

 

=/ But I just can't handle the random chat invites to random conversations that aren't Kingdom Hearts related. There's nothing wrong with it at all, I'm just not interested. A lot of people show up and go 'why the hell am I here?' and wait... and then leave. And from then on they promptly ignore any and all future chat invites. If only the conversation had actually been relevant to the site - they might actually use the chat feature more.

 

ONE MORE THING: I'd love you forever if you found some way to hack/improve the 'handwriting' feature. I've got a tablet and I can draw and send pictures but that thing is kind of rather very glitchy, man.

If people seem to be stalking you or making you upset there is a report option on their profile or you can tell one of the mods or admins it things seem to be getting carried away; that is what we are here for to help you all feel comfortable and handle situations like these. There is also an offline option in the chat where you can appear invisible or offline it would be wise to use that function when others are starting to annoy you and then report to us who the members are so we can handle the situation.

If you don't like the chat then just go offline or invisible, it really helps a lot if you do not enjoy to chat and people usually leave you alone and if someone is advertising sites then please report it to us and we'll deal with it and the member.
