I don't like Pokemon, but many of the people I've met in the fanbase are really nice. I hate Pokemon and love Yugioh, but aside from my friends in my town I've had a tough time making friends in the yugioh fanbase online.

There's a lot of things I don't like and whenever I express my hate for those things people always ask "why why why???" like I'm pretty sure there are things they don't like so last time I checked I have a right to hate things and not be forced to give an answer lol. I stopped answering people and say, "I hate it because I do and I'll leave it at that", because in the end it wastes 30 minutes out of my life explaining it an it's not like they really care anyways.Even for the things I love I don't really go on for hours about why I love it to somebody who obviously doesn't care, unless we both happen to share that same interest.I mean we can't like everything and if I don't want to explain myself then I don't have to, contrary to what a lot of people (for example, on YouTube) might think.

Pokemon's fanbase... nice? I don't think you've seen very many fans if you think they're nice, about 80% of the fanbase spends their time arguing. This is coming from a huge Pokemon fan, it really sucks to see them fight like that.

 

I think I'm going to like the Wii U more than the Ps4. Granted the Ps4 isn't even out yet, but honestly I do not see a single game that I want for it. Other than MGS5, but that's also going to be on the Ps3 so...yeah. 

I honestly wasn't going to get one until KHIII was shown. Heck, I didn't even watch Sony's conference, aside from the first 10 or so minutes and Nomura's segment.

Well maybe it's because I don't really go on any Pokemon-centers websites (though with fans everywhere it's hard not to notice) but by nice I mean at least bearable, unlike for example the Hetalia fanbase. You don't need to go on Pokemon fansites to find the horrible fanbase. Any Youtube video involving the newer games usually has an argument on it, assuming it has a decent amount of views.

There are many who like every generation of Pokémon, they just aren't vocal about it.

I've seen a lot of people who love them all, including me. I only dislike Generation I because I found it boring but it's a bit okay. I don't attack it repeatedly, and I love the Pokémon in it. 

Don't you know when two people of opposite opinions comes a debate? It's expected, it's not something new and it applies everywhere, regardless it's a fanbase or not.

Pretty much I mean it has a lot of fanfiction but mostly everyone is either twice my age or a complete weeaboo.

 

There is no happy medium for the online fanbase - my friends in my town are the only Yugioh buddies I need though, lawl.

I know that that leads to debates, but most Pokemon debates just go down to really bad insults and comebacks. Maybe I just haven't been to the right places, but I've never seen a good old Gen vs new Gen debate.

Well it's my opinion that your opinion can be contested, after all it is just your opinion! And since I am contesting an incontestable opinion it must be unpopular as well.

You must have quit before it killed you. 0_0 And I can see why LoL might bore someone. I personally don't like it since it is practically only PvP.Not sure if it is popular or unpopular, I personally can only stand pvp for more than a couple of matches in a few genres. Kart Racing games, Bomberman, and board games.

 

Hmm, what other opinion I have might be unpopular. COD and Halo need to exist, want to know why? They are a magnet for all that's wrong in multi-player games. They are graciously taking a bullet for all of us by using up the time of all those who define an unpleasant community! This makes other game's multi-player more bearable! Thank you COD and Halo.

I hate having plans on a school day. Whether I have to go shopping, over to a friend's house, or to a meeting, I really despise it. All I want to do after spending all day at my school is go home, take a shower, and eat. The only exception to this is if I am going out to dinner.

THIS It really pisses me off how some people say that they love the Shin Megami Tensei series yet they only play persona. That doesn't even make sense one bit. Or how in every smt video on YouTube there's somehow a discussion regarding how good Persona is. Literally no one ceased to care about the other games but Persona. You'll shit yourself when you find out how many Persona players there are that never heard of the other smt games. Sad really. Kh would've been better if Sora was a darkness.
